I hired Servpro during a recent basement flooding emergency. While the crew showed up quickly and were polite, the overall experience left a lot to be desired--especially when the final bill arrived. We were quoted an estimate of $1,500-$2,500 over the phone. Imagine our surprise when the final invoice came in over $3,500. For two hours of on-site work with little water removed and equipment that didn't function properly (one dehumidifier showed a flooding error), the value just wasn't there. When we called to get clarity over the weekend--crickets. No callback. But someone did show up promptly to pick up the equipment and, charmingly, asked for a 5-star review before showing us the actual invoice. To their credit, they later applied a 10% discount after I complained, but that only softened the blow slightly. Bottom line: if you use Servpro, ask for a detailed written estimate first, and brace yourself for charges that might surprise you. Transparency matters, especially during emergencies. But Servpro water removal service is not worth the money. read more

After a pipe burst during the cold spell in February 2023, our insurance company encouraged us to call SERVPRO to do a thorough inspection and mold remediation for our flooded basement level finished living space. We were not there to see exactly what their team did, but we understand they were thorough. By means of email correspondence I did occasionally communicate with Stone Shi, their Administrative Project Manager. Stone has a good understanding of his customer base and I found him to be very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. He stays with a goal until it is achieved! All in all, I would recommend with confidence SERVPRO and its team of able representatives. I will modify this review if I find things to be less than satisfactory after we return to our house. read more

We had an upstairs bathroom drain give way and it flooded our downstairs living room and kitchen. We had our own plumber come in to fix the leak, but got worried about mold. Working with our insurance, ServPro came in, put down protection for our living room and kitchen floor (hardwood), covered cabinets with plastic, created an isolation barrier from the rest of the house, removed the wet part of our ceiling and the bathroom linoleum and dried out everything. The demolition went pretty smooth. ServPro is now in the process of submitting an estimate to the insurance company for the re-construction work. I'm only giving four stars because the work is still on-going, but I have no complaints at this point. The personnel have all been courteous and pleasant to work with. Response time has been good. August 11, 2018, Picking up where my original review left off: ServPro completed the estimate and submitted to my insurance. The insurance company and ServPro worked out the cost before work started so there were no financial surprises. This was a speedy process and I have no complaints. ServPro uses their own people to do the deconstruction work. But they use sub-contractors to do the reconstruction work. The sub-contractors were excellent. The sheet rock was hung quickly, and the taping and mud-work was as fast as could be expected based on drying time. I was concerned whether the pattern of my textured ceiling could be reproduced. Nothing is perfect, but it is close enough that it is not noticeable unless one really studies the ceiling. The painting was immaculate. The painter was a younger guy, but his work was extremely good and very clean. At our request, some of the walls were painted a different color. There were no complaints when multiple coats were required to cover, and touch-up was handled to our complete satisfaction. We used vinyl flooring in the upstairs bath. It was laid very well and actually looks better than the original flooring. Overall, ServPro has been excellent to work with. My wife and I have zero complaints. I'm increasing my rating to five stars. read more

I had an issue with Servpro regarding billing and the staff was not helpful in working with me. However, after some time and persistence, the owner of the franchise got involved and quickly resolved the matter with me. Having been an executive in high tech industries for several decades, I know that customer service matters. I had previously given low marks to Servpro Nashua mainly due to their frontline team not coming through. However, the experience with the owner has shown me that he is a businessman with integrity and knows the value of an honest customer. Having spoke with him directly, I believe the actions of his staff in my case do not reflect his business values and that this has been a lesson learned and corrected. read more

I had water damage in my basement, which happened to be my son's bedroom. At first, I thought the ServPro of Nashua team would be great. The original person seemed to know what he was doing. Before proceeding with their services, I asked for a rough idea for cost of job. He explained what needed to be done, and mentioned similar jobs are about $1000-$1500. (only reason I agreed to the work as I had already removed half the sub floor for them). They did initial work and set up of dryers which was good, but couldn't finish. They proceeded to send a second crew 2 days later with 2 guys who were stoned, and didn't know what they were doing. This caused me to have to wait another 3 days for the original crew to come back. They did haul everything away which I appreciated avoiding dump runs. However, I then had to wait 12 days before they billed my insurance company, despite numerous requests. Then my insurance co tells me they are charging $2650 which is WAY more than the original estimate. I would understand if they had to do additional work, and if it was within a few hundred dollars, but this was almost double the price they said. I went through the itemized list with my insurance, and found ServPro is charging for some of the work that I did myself. Not to mention it took them almost 3 weeks from start to finish, on something that could have been 3 days. Because of their poor and shady services, I no longer have enough insurance money to rebuild my son's bedroom. I wish I knew the process because after watching them, I could have done it all myself in a few days. read more
