Communication was lacking throughout the process, which made an already stressful situation more difficult. My mother returned to the property with important items missing in order to properly prepare and sell the home. A full vanity mirror attached to the bathroom wall was sold while decorative towels and shower curtains intentionally left behind were not. Additionally, furniture was moved in a way that left noticeable gouges in the walls. We were told that many of the larger items did not sell the first day and that there would be price reduction listings on various platforms to try and sell these additional items. Through my limited personal search I only saw one item listed and much of the furniture went for free the following day. I did not expect to make money in this estate sale. I understand specific promises cannot be made in this line of business since there are so many outside factors involved. However, we came home to a few hundred dollar home depot trip to buy a new mirror and paint along with an additional invoice for services. When contacted, we did receive a minor credit. Melanie expressed that she did not know about the vanity mirror and seemed to be off-site during the actual sale. Overall, the disconnect with communication, lack of oversight, missing item, and damages done to the property made this a frustrating experience.

(I didn't hear it and I was only feet away.) Rather than let it go, the employee berated them, telling them that they should say it to his face and calling them immature in a room full of people. I walked out immediately, empty handed. I shop a lot of estate sales - A LOT - and this isn't the way to attract or endear customers to you. You certainly lost a buyer today.
