A long day to travel to get to Munich, wanted to walk to a place close to the Marriott hotel, literally 1 block away find this hidden treasure!! The food was amazing!! Atmosphere was spot on!!

I was there two night this trip. One reason was it's so close to our hotel, the second reason is because the food is solid. I are the schnitzel twice and loved it as much both times. Last night we were there later and it was a Friday. They took a six top and asked if the two of us would share it with two others. I said sure. I suggested the schnitzel to them and they both ordered it as well. Both the man and the women plowed it down and said thank you for the recommendation. The schnitzel is served with a cranberry jam and redskin potatoes. It's delicious. On the second trip my dad got the bruschetta as his main. He didn't seem to enjoy that. I did give him some schnitzel. Downside, it gets busy and takes forever to get your check to leave. Also it is a very small menu. Upside it'll the food, at least the one dish, is solid. The staff is super friendly. One word of advice for US folks, is if you pay with a card ask them to put tip on before the my run the card. I didn't know that and they couldn't put it on after. To my surprise, Since we didn't have cash, the server said it's okay, you US folks don't realize this and not different than home, plus you waited awhile. So please don't worry about a tip and I just thank you for coming. Super nice of him even though I felt awful.

Loved everything we ate - Apps = Hash brown goat cheese combo and Bruschetta w/ mushrooms. Pork belly melted in your mouth. I subbed spinach spätzle instead of my potatoes (best decision ever) w/ my schnitzel. Roast beef w/ caramelized onions was filling and flavorful. Great portion sizes for the price (including VAT). Alex our waiter was very attentive and friendly. Nailed it!!

Food was delicious and not your typical Bavarian tourist trap. Generous portions of tasty items. The servers were friendly and spoke good english. Definitely reccomend the Zwiebelrostbraten with Spätzle and the Schnitzel.

This restaurant was amazing. I came in by myself on a Saturday evening and they found a spot for me at a tiny bar. The pork belly dish was the best meal I've had in the past week in Bavaria. The beer is top notch. It maybe is a tad overpriced but the quality is A+ and it's worth it. Highly recommend. Would return again if not leaving town tomorrow.

They have indoor and outdoor seating and great service no matter where you sit. The outdoor seating was far enough away from the walking thoroughfare, so that you could enjoy the people watching without having them pass right next to you. The food was very good, much better than I expected. In fact, we liked it so much we went back for a second visit, which was a different meal choice and another very good experience. In total we ordered the white asparagus, the side salad, meatloaf with potato salad, rosemary potatoes and a prosciutto pizza. The meatloaf was really a loaf of Ham style meat. They served it with some mustard and potato salad. Just thinking about it makes my mouth water. The prosciutto pizza was very good with a good amount of cheese. The side salad had just about every color of the rainbow and was very good. A salad like this is such a difficult thing to find when you are traveling, I definitely enjoyed some greens with my meal. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We ordered a pretzel and it was pretty good, nothing special and I order a 0.5 liter Helles. Great beer of course and the server was super nice. Worth coming in for a beer right before heading in for the night at La Meridian next door. A pretty nice hotel.

We were staying at the Charles Hotel close by and saw that this beer hall had some solid reviews and was a short walk away. Germany is not famous for it's manners so we weren't surprised when the man behind the counter was not very polite when we entered and waited to be sat, but our waiter was very polite and made up for it. It's very large on the inside, quite noisy, and was filled with very large groups. We were a couple and did not feel out of place, rather it was fun to people watch. The pricing is very fair and the portion sizes are large. They have a giant drink menu as well but I chose the lager our waiter recommended and loved it, so much so that I got two. For my dinner, I chose the sausage combo plate, which was a mix of four different sausages and honestly, each of them was great. I especially like the spicy one, but, I ate all four of them pretty quickly. This place is very casual, but also very lively and a fun place to stop in when in Munich. I would recommend to any traveler, as well as to any local.

Both of our servers were great in their own way. One of them took the time to talk with us for quite a while, while the other one was quite comedic and encouraged us to try some Pasta mit Spargel. It was massive, but quite tasty. We would easily come here regularly.
