I have used Service Master for years. I owned my own private school downtown and when I had new carpet installed, Service Master was recommended by the carpet company who provided and installed the carpet. If you can imagine, 100+ students trampling the carpets everyday, you know that keeping a school in good shape is not easy. Thanks to Service Master (Commercial), I had the same carpet looking good for 10 years! Then I had a flood in my house and asked Service Master if they did residential and they directed me to their residential services. I have used them with complete satisfaction several times. I have a rental suite and they come and clean it up perfectly each time. Moreover, they give you a quote up front and then do it for the price that they have quoted, something not every carpet company does. They don't try to sell you and I have had dealt with the same staff over the years which also says something for the company. Very bad experience working for service master. They stuck me with a job that they told me took 180 hrs but when I actually did the job I worked 300 hrs and I was trying hard to do a good job. I supplied 4 thousand dollars in rope access gear, my labour and my worktruck with fuel for 6 weeks 10 hr days 6 days a week. 30 dollars an hour no overtime pay,no bonus at the end as promised There now holding my paycheque and ignoring my calls. What an unprofessional company to work for. I have 3 children and when an employee doesn't get payed by these types of companies, the whole family takes a loss. I would not recommend to work for these crooks or to get services from them as the management don't care and rip off there employees even after you just made them 6 thousand dollars profit in the month worked. Excellent service from service master clean , I called to try them out , I have been using other companies for a long time I did not know what I was missing . Douglas the technician that came to do the service was very professional , he treated my place with care , very good customer skills .came in with plastic boots to prevent bringing in Soil from outside .placed corner protector so it wouldn't damage my house . knowledgeable worker . He knew exactly what products to use to remove all the spots and a wine stains on my carpets . Very friendly and hard working guy . I was very surprised and extremely happy with the result . They broke our wood fence, they damage our gutter's edge. We end up have to spent more money to repair everything on our own. As one of the concil in our townhouse, multiple units has been found gutter edge damaged, after gutter clean by serviceMaster company. Also the way how they clean the gutter, instead of pick out or vaccumm the gutter, they kind of flush dust/leaf down to the pine, which is easy and fast for them to finisht the job, but it will possible cause future drain pine stuck. After they came use boom lift, I found out my unit's wood fence got serious damage. Avoid use this company. He arrived punctually, introduced himself, was extremely respectful and courteous throughout the time he was here steam cleaning our sofa. He explained the process and the options open to me in terms of the products used and seemed genuinely keen and committed to doing the very best job possible. He was very thorough in his work. We have used Service Master for several years. It is time to say some thing positive about the wonderful work they do. Douglas did an amazing job on our two bedroom unit! He was incredibly efficient, helpful and professional. He came in and assessed the area, then decided on a plan of attack for each of the rooms. He was very diligent in cleaning the baseboards first and then progressing to the steam cleaning of the carpet. He was even able to get out a stain that had been set into our carpets years ago! I've had a few dealings with this awesome company. They cleaned our carpets - they came in professionally - took the time it needed - were very knowledgeable and friendly. I tried out their online scheduling system on the recommendation of a friend, and it worked awesome. The cleaner came in and put on the little plastic booties to keep the carpet clean. I had some stains which he immediately treated, and then proceeded to do the rest of the apartment. It took about an hour and the carpets looked fantastic afterwards. Great service! I had several rugs and a couch that needed to be cleaned after some heavy staining. The cleaner came on time and did a wonderful job of getting the stains out of the my couch.
