Asia fusion style street food in a fine dining environment. Very eclectic menu with subtle Mexican influences. This place is a must eat if you are the area. The service is top notch and the restaurant is so clean.

Crispy Chicken Bun...yes I bit it before taking the pic.

While in Mexico City, I'm not sure if one can ever get enough of all the Mexican cuisine offerings, from the most elevated to the street tacos--all delicious! But on this day, we were craving Asian food, so we Ubered over to Sesame. The first question, inside or out was a no-brainer, because although it is winter, the weather was quite pleasant. So we took advantage and sat outside on the beautiful street, our table with a direct view of the famous Panderia Rosetta. Our server was very attentive, actually, everyone was kind and attentive and the experience was quaint, low key, and beautiful. We had a few dishes that my lifetime eating partner truly enjoyed, but the highlights for me were the Bailey's infused martini and that brownie dessert!! In my next life as a food critic, I'm going to know what the hell the brownie was surrounded by. All I know is whatever it was, plus the brownie, plus the chai ice cream.....sent me into foodgasms--that naughty zone where your endorphins are on 10, all is well in the world, you think you know God just a little more, and you don't want anyone to speak to you. I was there. I will be back there. Thank you, Chef! One day I'm going to come ask what the thingys surrounding my brownie were, and begin my ascent to a real educated food snob.

Really amazed at how good the food is here! Very flavorful and well presented! Highly recommended this place if you are in the area!

Chill vibe, eclectic menu, and good cocktails. It's in Roma Norte, which means the hipster-fu is strong with this one. That said, the food is, as with quite a few of the places around, quite good, and worth the visit. The drinks, however, are what what make the place. The bartenders know their stuff, and can either make you something off their fun menu, or better yet, work with you on crafting something (you'll need some spanish for that though!) Warning - most of the sake bottles behind the bar are for show - they usually have only one choice by the glass, and one bottle...

Amazing edamame! I loved all the vegetarian options and the yummy seafood options. Great ambiance outside

Stopped in for a some apps. Got the boa buns - pork belly and and short rib. Both had similar flavor profiles, I'd pick the pork belly as the favorite. Also got the samosas which were good as well. If your looking a quick spot, Asian fusion, in a Cute spot, plenty of outdoor seating this is your spot. I only peaked inside and looked like they had a few tables inside as well. Staff was good and attentive, quick service once you place your order. Take a look at my menu pictures for prices

This place is amazing!! Best Asian food I've ever had. The pork belly buns are to die for! I also recommend the pad Thai, pulpo, and arroz tobiko!

I ordered the batur, the drink on the right, it had cucumber and deliciousness

All we got here was drinks before our meal at Meroma. The drinks were inspired, and the bar tender gave us great service!

Tofu pad Thai, pork belly bao, lettuce wraps, and edamame.

We ordered it from Uber Eats so it may not be the best representation of the food but anyways. - Sopa De Res Taiwanesa - Seeing the Spanish translation is so interesting to me as really they take into account what locals will understand what the food means to them. I thought this beef noodle soup was okay, the broth was underwhelming and quite watered down. The noodles also felt a bit like ramen noodles. The beef was not super tender. - Arroz Con Pork Belly - I definitely recommend this dish instead as the pork was very juicy and flavorful and the meat drippings paired very well with the rice. Overall, it's not the best Taiwanese food you'll ever get but I guess it will satisfy your Asian cravings when in CDMX.

My review is based on the three dishes I ordered: spring rolls, chicken satay, and pho. The spring rolls were probably the best thing I had. Tasted how you would expect. However, the peanut sauce that had accompanied them was overly sweet. 3.5/5 The satay was RAW. Ate only one full satay skewer because I couldn't eat the rest. 1/5 The most disappointing dish was the pho. The broth lacked depth in flavor and any fragrance characteristic of pho. It was almost as if they didn't try. The portion of noodles was quite small; I finished the noodles in about three bites. The broth is traditionally poured scalding hot over raw meat but instead, it was warm and it took a while for the meat to cook. 1.5/5 Do not recommend. The only reason I'm giving two stars is because the waiter was friendly.

Came in with extremely low standards since I am after all in Mexico City and ordering pho!…read more It met my basic requirements. Probably the worse pho I ever had, but probably one of the best in DF. If you're looking for authenticity this isn't the place...but you probably won't find it in all of DF. It's kinda like looking for authentic tacos in Vietnam. The restaurant itself is small and has a hole-in-the-wall charming feel. It's off the main drag so you can escape the bar crowed and duck in for a drink or two. Price wise this place is pretty expensive, even for La Condesa standards. So if you're stomach was hurting from street tacos and you want soup, it's 11:30pm and the ramen bars are closed...then give them a try. Otherwise skip.
