Frustrated, I turned to Yelp again for help. I was hesitant on using the original roofing company from 3 years ago for this repair because I had some thoughts that they may not have done a good job during that first repair. Four Peaks Roofing was fast to answer in my time of need and I was able to get someone to come check out my issue same day. Jorge ended up coming out and I relayed my concerns to him. I couldn't have asked for a more knowledgeable, friendly, and courteous person than him. When he was inside my home, without anyone prompting him, he took off his shoes while walking around. My family and I have a "no shoes while inside the house" rule but I never ask any outside vendors to abide by it for their convenience and safety. He was the first outside vendor to do this (again, without anyone asking him to!) and I really needed to highlight this as this was exceptional and beyond thoughtful. After Jorge was done inside, he went back outside and got onto my roof to start inspecting. He took his time and came down with pictures to show Hubby and I when he was done. He eased my concerns and said that the sealing from 3 years ago deteriorated with time. The previous roofer did what needed to be done at the time and it's just the brutal summers that just destroys everything so quickly. Jorge encouraged me to get in contact with the previous roofer to see if I can work something out with them and continued to write up an estimate for us if we wanted to go with him. He went out of his way to look out for us and I wish there was more people like him out in the world. I did contact the previous roofer and ended going with them as they worked out something with me that I couldn't refuse. This inspector that came out also reiterated the same things Jorge went over so I was relieved that these 2 different individuals were in agreement on the same things. Even though I ended up not doing this project with Four Peaks Roofing, this exceptional experience will guarantee me coming back here for my next project.

I contacted Lyons roofing for a client of mine. They came highly recommended and I was anxious to…read moreget the job going. They were 4 months out at the begining and that turned into 6 months. There were some unforseen issues that set the job back further. I was getting very frustrated ,but more so from a lack of communication at that point. After finally getting intouch with Abril our job was scheduled. I was contacted by Ron the project manager about what to expect. I met with Ron to walk the roof and he discussed items they would be finishing up and answered all my questions. He assured me I would get my 5 star roof. After all the waiting, that was what I expected. I met with Ron again today and the job was finished as expected. I would rate the communication when the job started and was completed as top notch. I realize that things happen beyond our control and that is unfortunate. We did get our 5 star roof and 5 star customer service. Lyons will need to return for a new window that needs to be installed and foamed in. I will look forward to another 5 star service from Lyons. Thank you for completing the job and cleaning up the jobsite.

I had my back roof replaced by lyons roofing 9.9 years ago. The company has changed hands since…read morethen. Two years ago (when it was under the new ownership, ) I asked them to come out because several shingles had come off and the back roof wasn't looking that good. I had told The person sending the appointment that lyons roofing had put in the back-roof. A person came out he said he was the son of the new owner. He looked it over and said that the whole roof needed to be replaced and that whoever did the back roof did a really bad job of it. That there was missing shingles, shingles, pulling up easily and fiberglass from the shingles showing through. He then handed me a quote for a whole new roof. When I told them they had done the back roof and that it was still under warranty. All he wanted to do was change the estimate for just the back roof. I explained that they had done the back roof and it was still under warranty and I wanted it fixed. He said he would set up a date for that. It took more well over six months of calling, leaving messages, emailing, etc., and they would always say they were going to put it on the schedule and they didn't come. Finally, when I threatened to contact the registrar of contractors and the Attorney journal's office they finally came out and replaced a few shingles that were missing. Please note that even though they gave me paperwork to show that they had been out it's not showing up in their computer now. At least that's what the person I talk to today said. Yes, the roof is still under warranty, but this work should've been done two years ago when they first noticed it. And they can't come out at all this week to look at the roof. I have had other roofers up on the roof and in the attic and yes, the back roof is much worse than the front roof which was actually 10 to 15 years older than the back roof. With the way, I was treated two years ago regarding the warranty and the fact that I now have damage in my attic and leaking due to the back roof...there's no way I will have lyons roofing do any work on my roof! I don't trust them nor their work, nor do I trust their ability to treat their clients properly. The fact that they treat pre-existing clients as bad as they do and all the bad feedback that has shown up since the new ownership (there was a little to no bad feedback for the old owners), and even if I could get them to come out to honor the warranty it would likely only honor the materials, not the labor. And I certainly don't want that low quality of shingles back on my roof to only have to be replaced 8 to 10 years later. Beware of this company. Read the other feedback. We can't all be wrong. There may be some good feedback, but how many of those have had the roof enough time to know how well it's going to last.

Within days to months of the original repair, I experienced continued leaks and had to request multiple return visits. During one of those attempts, a new leak was actually created in an adjoining room, causing additional damage to my home and furniture. I was in direct contact with the owner, Kirk, who personally came out to inspect not only the leak itself but the damage that resulted from it. He apologized and assured me the issues would be taken care of. Unfortunately, after that, communication stopped completely and all accountability disappeared. To this day, the problems were never properly resolved. I still have the correspondence, photos, and documentation to support everything stated here. Mistakes can happen with any company. What matters is how they handle them. In my experience, the lack of follow-through, integrity, and accountability is what should make potential customers think twice before hiring this company.

L&R was the only one who said it didn't need replacing and that they could repair it for less than $5k. They explained that many roofing companies want to push a roof replacement because they make boatloads more money than on a repair. I appreciated their honesty, pricing and repair quality.
