They did quite impressive work in repairing and sealing the parapet 'cap' in addition to sealing our flat foam roof. I hired Four Peaks Roofing in February to replace my roof. I worked with Jason in the office and Brent, my project manager. We specifically agreed to install the highest-quality underlayment, and I signed the work order reflecting that agreement. The crew began work on a Monday. On Tuesday evening, after they had left, I noticed the underlayment installed on my roof was not the product I had purchased. I checked the packaging, confirmed it was the wrong material, and emailed Brent. To his credit, he responded quickly, acknowledged the mistake, and said he would notify the foreman and owner. I followed up the next morning to ask how it would be corrected, but for nearly two and a half days I received no communication while the crew continued installing the wrong underlayment. There were no calls, updates, or explanation of how they intended to resolve the issue. Late Friday, I was told they were working with the manufacturer to extend the warranty on the installed underlayment to match the warranty of the premium product I had originally purchased. While I appreciated that solution, I was disappointed by the lack of communication during those critical days. After the roof was completed, I noticed several tile corners looked rough and unfinished. I sent Brent photos, and he agreed they needed additional detail work. The crew returned the following week, and to their credit, they significantly improved the appearance of the tile corners. Before the project began, I had also shown Brent water damage and rot around a vented soffit board beneath one of my roof overhangs. Although I later learned they normally do not replace vented soffit boards because they are not considered part of the roof, they agreed to replace mine as a goodwill gesture because of the underlayment mistake. Unfortunately, the first repair was poorly done. The installer used the wrong thickness of material, installed it unevenly, and relied heavily on caulk to fill gaps. The workmanship was poor enough that I removed the repair myself before the caulk had fully cured and purchased the correct materials to replace it properly. Around the same time, I discovered numerous roofing nails and staples protruding through my eaves that had not been there before the installation. Brent agreed this needed to be corrected. A crew later arrived after dark, without notifying us, and repaired the fasteners using flashlights. While I appreciated the quick response, showing up unannounced at our home at night to perform repairs demonstrated a lack of professionalism and respect for us as clients. A few weeks into the project, Jason called to discuss my experience. I explained that I chose Four Peaks because of its reputation and because both he and Brent had seemed honest and trustworthy throughout the sales process. Unfortunately, the execution of the project did not match those expectations. Jason apologized for the underlayment mistake and offered to have their carpenter reinstall the soffit board. I declined because I had already purchased the materials and planned to complete the repair myself. Two days later, however, my wife and I were awakened at approximately 6:00 a.m. by loud hammering outside our home. I found another Four Peaks employee reinstalling the soffit board without our knowledge or permission. To be fair, the second repair was significantly better, but the lack of communication was frustrating. Four Peaks ultimately upgraded the manufacturer warranty from 30 years to 50 years and matched it with an extended workmanship warranty, which I appreciated. They also charged me for the lower-priced underlayment that was actually installed instead of the premium product I had purchased. No other compensation offered. However, when the invoice arrived, it still reflected the original higher price, requiring me to contact Brent again to have it corrected. I was also told I would receive a project completion package after the work was finished. It is now July, and I still have not received it. After recent storms, I inspected my attic and discovered the rotted wood behind the soffit had never actually been removed. Instead, it had simply been pushed inward and covered by the new material. I've included photos showing the tile corners before they were repaired, the protruding nails and staples, the soffit repairs, and the remaining rot. Overall, Brent was responsive throughout much of the project, and several employees made efforts to resolve the issues. I appreciate those efforts. However, the repeated mistakes, poor communication, inconsistent workmanship, billing error, unfinished repairs, and multiple unannounced visits overshadowed the positives. I hope my experience helps future homeowners make an informed decision. read more

The early June surprise rain revealed the sealing on my roof from 3 years ago had deteriorated and a small leak appeared in the very same area in my son's bedroom from back then. Frustrated, I turned to Yelp again for help. I was hesitant on using the original roofing company from 3 years ago for this repair because I had some thoughts that they may not have done a good job during that first repair. Four Peaks Roofing was fast to answer in my time of need and I was able to get someone to come check out my issue same day. Jorge ended up coming out and I relayed my concerns to him. I couldn't have asked for a more knowledgeable, friendly, and courteous person than him. When he was inside my home, without anyone prompting him, he took off his shoes while walking around. My family and I have a "no shoes while inside the house" rule but I never ask any outside vendors to abide by it for their convenience and safety. He was the first outside vendor to do this (again, without anyone asking him to!) and I really needed to highlight this as this was exceptional and beyond thoughtful. After Jorge was done inside, he went back outside and got onto my roof to start inspecting. He took his time and came down with pictures to show Hubby and I when he was done. He eased my concerns and said that the sealing from 3 years ago deteriorated with time. The previous roofer did what needed to be done at the time and it's just the brutal summers that just destroys everything so quickly. Jorge encouraged me to get in contact with the previous roofer to see if I can work something out with them and continued to write up an estimate for us if we wanted to go with him. He went out of his way to look out for us and I wish there was more people like him out in the world. I did contact the previous roofer and ended going with them as they worked out something with me that I couldn't refuse. This inspector that came out also reiterated the same things Jorge went over so I was relieved that these 2 different individuals were in agreement on the same things. Even though I ended up not doing this project with Four Peaks Roofing, this exceptional experience will guarantee me coming back here for my next project. read more

Had Jorge come out to take a look at our roof that needed some patch work and sealing. A few other companies had tried to pitch us on an entirely new roof which wasn't necessary. Jorge and the team were completely honest, and told us what we should do to patch up areas of the roof that had been cracked by the sun. I noticed some water damage on / in a wall in a room I don't often use in my 8 year old home. I called Four Peaks and Ryan came out to assess the situation. After going up on the roof, he said my roof looked fine. The installer (NOT Four Peaks BTW) had left construction debris on the roof and it diverted the water flow which resulted in my damage. Ryan removed the debris which should eliminate the issue. A+ for honesty, which isn't always easy to find these days! read more

We had Jason come out and was great. I had told him I had bought a bucket of sealant to put around a leaking skylight that hadn't fixed the problem. He found the crack in the foam causing the leak that I missed and said my sealant would do the trick if I just put it there and didn't charge me a thing. We selected Four Peaks Roofing to replace our 20+ year old wood shake roof and are so glad we did! Ryan was our project manager and was wonderful to work with. He was professional, knowledgeable, and patient as we asked a multitude of questions and requested several samples and estimates based on the various options. We paid for the replacement out of pocket and wanted to be sure that we picked a shingle that would look good when we repainted our home. We also wanted a style that is similar to wood shake since we like the 3D look. After much consideration, we opted for the ArmourShake in Chalet Wood. It was a pricier option, but well worth it! I included a closeup picture of the new roof that hopefully provides a better perspective of the texture. It has a 3D texture with multicolored pieces that looks similar to wood shake. We love look of the new roof and have received multiple compliments from our neighbors! The crew was very respectful of our property and did an amazing job! Our neighbor even called us to complement the crew on cleaning our property before leaving each evening. The dumpster had two porta potties, which we've never seen before. It was an example of the care that Four Peaks provides to their crew, which reduces delays on the project. As my mother in law was moving out of her house, we noticed a few spots of staining on the ceiling. After a quick call Ryan was able to come and look at the roof the next day. By the end of the day we had an estimate. My MIL greatest fears were relieved when the price was very reasonable. After signing the contract, the supplies were delivered that Friday and work started on Monday. It is Wednesday night we have a new roof on the house and you would never know they were working the past three days! The yard is clean and we are beyond happy! Now I need them to come to my house! I had an incredible experience with the Four Peaks team. After getting several proposals from local roofing companies, we chose Four Peaks based on their dedicated insurance team that handles working with the insurance company. I worked with Brent and Carl over a 6 month period in a battle with Allstate to get our roof covered. When we submitted a claim for our roof repair, Allstate didn't want anything to do with it--they said the repair cost less than our deductible. Allstate kept denying and leaving me voicemails that they couldn't accept my claim. I would reach out to Brent immediately, and he would just say, "We'll take care of it." Throughout the 6 months, Brent and Carl were always quick to respond to any texts or emails. Brent and Carl went back and forth, coming back to our roof to take videos and resubmitting anything that Allstate asked for. After several denials, Brent and Carl brought in a public adjuster to ramp up their efforts with Allstate, and finally, Allstate relented. Allstate covered the entire roof plus some deck work. When it came time for the roof repair, it was very smooth. The dumpster/port-a-potty was neatly parked, they completed our roof in one day, and they left no trace in our driveway. After the roof was completed, Allstate still needed to send the remaining claim balance. Allstate took ages to release funds, and the amount was less than what I expected. Brent and Carl contacted Allstate to get the correct amount sent to me. Tech came out to look at my roof for a couple missing shingles. Told me I needed an entire new roof, my roof was old and he couldn't do anything, except I needed to file a claim. Had another guy come out who was 40+ years in business and fixed it right away, for little to nothing. For the sake on embarrassment I won't post the texts or guys name. We had been having problems with our insurance for years before finding this company. We worked with four other roofing companies trying to get our roof replaced and they all gave up and stopped responding to us. Our insurance was absolutely refusing to replace saying it could be repaired even though all the evidence pointed to the opposite. Enter Four Peaks. We told them our situation and they said they would duke it out! We were hesitantly optimistic. Over the course of the next several months, we went through the same arguments with Allstate. They still declared we could fix the roof. Four Peaks took video and pictures proving the opposite. Eventually, Four Peaks told us to send an arbitration letter to Allstate. They gave us the exact wording to use to get the process started. They truly took the reins and did battle. It took over five months for everything to get settled but they stuck it out to the end. We got our check a day after the agreement was finalized and they were replacing the roof within the week. The roof itself looks wonderful. It took about two days to complete. The workers were very nice and capable. The owner showed up during the process to make sure everything was going smoothly and to explain the rest of the process as well. They cleaned up everything nicely. We can't find any evidence that our roof was even replaced! We are beyond happy we chose this company. They are kind, capable and excellent at their jobs. Incredible company to work with! Personally spoke with Jason, Brent, and Jeff throughout the project. They submitted everything for the insurance claim quickly and even met with the adjuster while he was inspecting the roof.
