While it is not free, there are several parking lots to choose from and I have never had trouble finding a spot, even during events. I have attended multiple events here over the years, including a Yelp Elite end of year event, and the experience has always been consistently solid. My employer also maintains a space in the building, which speaks to the caliber of organizations and talent The Ion attracts. There are a couple of restaurants inside the building that I have not tried yet, along with outdoor seating that is great for lunch. Food trucks will often be set up outside during the lunch hour, which adds to the overall atmosphere. Security is attentive without being overbearing, and there is always someone present at the front desk. The building is consistently clean, polished, and well maintained. My favorite feature is the main floor stairs and stage area, which feels casual but still perfectly aligned with the innovative and professional nature of the space. If you are in the Houston area and have the opportunity to attend an event here, I highly recommend checking it out.

Despite multiple requests for resolution, nothing was done. When I voiced my concerns, I was met with microaggressions and what I believe to be racial discrimination. Rather than support or empathy, I was treated with hostility. Upon moving out, I was retaliated against with multiple charges to my account--three times in one day--which felt deliberate and unethical. This was not the professional, empowering space for women that I expected. I would not recommend SheSpace to anyone, especially women of color seeking a respectful and supportive work environment.

While the company has been around for several years, they've been in this location since 2023. Housed in a thoughtfully repurposed warehouse, the space is raw and full of potential for just about about any setting from weddings to art exhibitions to corporate gatherings. It reminds me of other spots I've seen in other areas of the city, but this location in The Heights makes it a prime location. There is close to 10,000 sq ft of usable space, complete with bathrooms, a waiting / welcome area, bar area, prep kitchen, high ceilings, and function rooms (changing / lounging) and is completely ADA accessible with ramps. While the Wi-Fi and ventilation are a bit on the weak side, I am pleased they're still options. As with many centrally based venues, parking may require coordination for larger attended events, though I suspect the neighboring brewery (#1) may end up taking many of the spots. The neighborhood setting definitely adds to the space's creative energy and being next to a popular BBQ place (#2) doesn't hurt either. Overall, I'm so impressed with the venue and hope to find myself coming back for other events. I have no doubt given the space's versatility, that it can really transform into just about anything. At its core, it's a large warehouse-style venue that was transformed to host a Black Art Exhibit. Art lined the walls, each piece clearly credited to its respective artist, with live music and a DJ adding to the vibe. The sound quality was good, but the acoustics were a bit muffled since the space isn't acoustically treated for live music. That's not a knock on the venue, just a lil something I noticed. Overall, we had a great time. The patrons were all dressed artistically, and the overall atmosphere in the room was dope. I loved being surrounded by my tribe of people -THE ARTISTS.

As an entrepreneur, I find this space to be a great motivation and a wonderful change of scene from working at home (where I am almost never as productive), or from the boring 777 office buildings (where, frankly, the people aren't as cool). The awesome, completely renovated house- turned shared office space, is beautifully decorated, and is full of character. The staff actually encourage a TRUE co-working atmosphere with weekly happy hours (yup!), seminars, and sometimes free lunch! I searched this city high & low- looking for a centrally located office space... Regis, Level, Start, Boxer... but THIS place stole my heart! From the time I walked in I felt like part of the family! Plus the prices and the authentic (freshly brewed) Columbian coffee are both AMAZING. In fact, the prices are so reasonable, that I even purchased memberships for a couple of my part-time employees! You can see most of downtown from the restaurant which created a very high end/lux experience. Our waitress was attentive however every now and again would have to flag her down for something but overall great food and experience. I had the grilled chicken sandwich which sweet potato fries. The chicken was nice and juicy and seasoned very well. The fries were nice and crispy which I loved. I would recommend this place if I knew how to obtain membership
