I wanted to have some nice senior pictures done for my graduating high school senior. Well, I private messaged and emailed one such photographer and she never even bothered to respond! Discouraged, I turned to my old friend Yelp, and Ashley Blake caught my eye. Great reviews, nice looking photos- and wouldn't you know, she responded within the hour. From that point on everything was wonderful. Ashley does a great job communicating with you. I paid a partial deposit and we worked out a meeting spot and photo location. Ashley comes prepared with all of her equipment, and an artistic eye for nice backdrops. Asking an 18 year old boy to pose for an hour is a tall order, but she's so friendly and chill my son complied! We had a rare cold snap the day before our appointment and Ashley gave me the choice to reschedule if I preferred. This is turning into a long review, but what I'm trying to say is that she's terrific! I'm so glad I found Ashley and would recommend her to anyone.

She is kind, patient, understanding, funny, and an absolute joy to be around. OH and she's an INCREDIBLE PHOTOGRAPHER. When we first met with Jess, I could tell that she was going to bring a positive vibe to our special day. I knew she would lift me up and make me feel like my best self in our photos. After our engagement session, that was confirmed. She just makes you feel so confident and so comfortable in front of the camera. Additionally, she knows the Columbia wedding scene and gives you recommendations for other vendors. We utilized so many of her recommendations for our day. She had questionnaires for us leading up to our big day to discuss the things we wanted or didn't want. We were able to communicate any concerns or questions and felt completely supported.
