People regularly come and go so it should be easy to find parking even on a busy Saturday. You can make a day of it and do leisurly clothes shopping, grab a snack or eat lunch with several choices in food, hit the drug store and then close out the day doing your weekly grocery shopping. This may not be the "German" way and some may revolt the idea of mall shopping but if you have been to the US or are from the USA, you will appreciate the convenience of MTZ. PS: I think people should starting calling this mall MTZ because saying the whole name is difficult and time consuming.

Completely modernized in 2011/2012, there are plenty of convenience retailers of big brands in this shopping complex like Real, Decathlon sports store, Kaufland, Ernsting's Family, and many other businesses. This is a good supermarket that has a great selection of food outlets like KFC, McDonald's, and Pizza Hut. The bakery has the best cheesecakes. Everything you need is available in one place. I will term it a standard German shopping mall where you can find extensive service providers such as pharmacies, post office, hairdressers, opticians, dry cleaners, shoes and locksmiths, and many more at affordable prices. Over 2,100 free and partially covered parking spaces are an added facility. Public toilets are available free of cost. In short, I recommend taking a stroll inside the center for easy and convenient shopping taking advantage of good deals offered occasionally.

I was especially impressed by all the non-retail areas like reading lounges, kid hangouts, ladies lounges, and sitting areas. Also, in the food court there's a kid's play area with tables, and a literal climbing wall for the little ones which was pretty neat. In addition, there were coffee shops, bakeries, pharmacy, and grocery store all on-site!

While you can easily walk to here from a walkway connected to the airport you're going to have to leave the secure area and go through security to come back. The Squaire is an interesting amalgam of a train station, glass dome, office building, hotels, retail shops, and restaurants. The food selection is quite varied ranging from a Burger King to some nice looking restaurants. I didn't have a lot of time to explore because I spent most of the layover sleeping at the attached Hilton Garden Inn (which lets you reserve a room for just the day). Still it was nice being able to grab a quick bite before heading back for the next flight.

The mall decor is bright and cheerful . I noted the issues with toilets in other reviews. We used the toilet on the top floor near skyline cafe. It has 6 floors of mainly stores with the 4th floor being mainly restaurants. Tonight we came back to MyZeil for dinner at a restaurant in the foodtopia area on the 4th floor. It's great having all of this close to our hotel (Residence Inn by Marriott).
