!!!!! BEWARE !!!! DON'T BUY ANYTHING HERE !!! If I could rate this shop - a MINUS 10 - I would. About four weeks ago I brought a very precious painting my mother made to the shop to be framed, I kick myself everyday since that I did not look on yelp beforehand to see what the review was. Me of all people are Yelper who didn't look at Yelp shame on me..... When I walked in the shop and brought in the painting I knew in my head I wanted a copper frame. I've maybe framed 3 pieces of art in my life so I don't have a lot of experience in this area and I really did rely on the owner and her professional opinion to assist me. After about 15 minutes and no copper frame sample in site, I kept repeating myself to her that I wanted copper - finally she picked the copper piece and she added that we should put another frame inside of it which I knew was going to look kind of weird but I thought I should go with her professional opinion. The worst part about choosing the frame with her was her friend was there or partner and he was butting in the conversation and it really bothered me that he kept butting in and he had a coffee in his hand near the painting was very unprofessional. We spent at least 10 minutes choosing the frame. It was a very confusing process over a VERY messy work counter. After the bill was written up I mentioned the sign that said the spaces for lease it should've been my first indication, and she said they been there for many years and that they're moving - I had to think positive after all she already had my $200 for a picture that I might add is only 18" x 26" ridiculous amount of money I know! I was told to come back in two weeks which I did"....... I walked in the store and there was a guy behind the counter (now the counter was full of food and very messy) there was another guy on the other side of the counter I stood back and waited - The shopkeeper said it's okay it's my friend, can I help you with? What is this shop bring your friend to work every day?? I showed my receipt, "what the picture was of" he said - I said "a painting of Hawaii" - the friend then jumped in and asked too many questions; have you been to Hawaii? where was I there? who did the picture?, it got to the point that I actually turned to them and said look do you mind I'm trying to pick up my picture - he was very very rude. The shopkeeper (while holding his coffee) made he way through an obstacle course to find the picture where artwork was leaning up against every single flat surface in the shop. He brought the framed art over to the counter I looked at it saw the copper frame and then saw the inside frame was beige and that it was all dirty - I pointed that out to him and he didn't seem to care so you need to tell the owner as that's not what I ordered what I ordered, I said . I ordered white. Looking at the picture I hated it , I hated the copper I hated the white it looks cheap - the back paper was craft paper glued on and cut uneven, the hardware was terrible on the back the whole thing was a disaster! A week later I got a call from the owner who said on my voicemail "your paintings ready come pick it up" (Great customer service so far isn't it?) Yesterday I walked in the filthy dirty unorganized crummy shop to pick up my very precious painting and the owner again had to make her way through an obstacle course of paintings to get it brought it to the counter and they had not changed the beige interior frame! But by this point I was rather upset and she argued with me for a solid five minutes about it I finally said you know what I'm going to go somewhere else to get it framed properly - this is really a bad job - you did a terrible job framing this, wrap it up so I can leave your shop. As I was leaving, a customer was entering, I turned the customer and said "you know what, don't buy anything in here, please don't buy anything in here" I'm sure I look like lunatic, but it had to be said. Don't buy anything in this store is terrible! the owner, the staff and their friends they bring to work are so unprofessional they should be ashamed to call this shop a gallery ! I wish I had not gone in to another the store with a great Yelp review up the street ! In fact I will to have this great picture reframed. read more

I bought a piece of fabric to be stretched and was sent to Sevan on a recommendation to do the stretching. They claimed they do stretching all of the time and even recommended the size it should be. When I received the art, you could see the wood through the fabric and it did not look good. When I called to explain my problem they told me that they knew about the issue but was hoping that the wall would hide the wood? Meaning, they knew they didn't do a good job and hoped I wouldn't notice. They said they would figure out how to fix it and call me back. They didn't call so I called again. Same thing. Eventually I gave up and my decorator told me she could fix it easily and did it properly. In summary, do not come here to get fabric stretched! read more

What has happened to this place? Over the years I have had many many things framed and always had wonderful service. Now? The woman behind the counter (who was certainly old enough to know better) couldn't stop texting to serve me. Making a customer wait while you are busy with a personal text and not even looking up from your phone is just bad customer service in my opinion. Stupid me, I should have walked out. But I have a long history with this place. When she finally gave me the time of day, she didn't even bother to measure my posters after I told her what I thought were the sizes. She then gave me a longer than usual due date because they were so swamped. Honestly, the place looked like a ghost town. I don't know. Maybe it is just this one person who is giving the place a bad name and certainly a bad vibe. But, I doubt I will go there again. read more

Purchased a groupon with this company as I had a few pictures I wanted to frame for my husbands bday. The store was in renovations. She volunteered to pick up the pictures. Nice service. I only needed a frame. The picture and matting for all 3 were already done. Somehow to frame 3 pictures, approximately 8x11 it ended up being over 300$. Seemed pricey but i had the groupon already. We made arrangements to meet as store was still in reno, but she ignored my plan. I was to pay by email, instructions not followed. Instead she dropped off the pictures at the condo. Surprise for the husband was gone. He ended up paying for it. Not the arrangement. And I am still awaiting a receipt that was to come by email. So the best made plans were ruined. I think the groupon was a way to scam you. read more

I have been to this store on three occasions, and each time the customer service has been excellent with every staff member I encountered. They were accommodating and answered my inquiries in a friendly, interested and patient way (as I am new to art). There is a wide selection of prints but not too many paintings. However, the store allows customers to peruse its catalogs and order in paintings free of delivery charges. I have a piece on order. Just bought an amazing piece from Sevan Gallery. Must admit I'm surprised at the negative reviews. My overall experience was wonderful. The customer service was great and the woman helping me went above and beyond to get my framed print delivered on time. There is a ton of selection of pieces to choose from which is great if you're someone like me that doesn't have a chosen piece ready to be framed/printed. I was impressed with the varied selection. The pricing on both the print and frame were reasonable. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for something unique. read more

I purchased a print from a catalogue that was roughly $60 and was told it would be delivered from their supplier in no more than two weeks. It has now been on the verge of two months and have been calling this place every week to get more information on where my print is. I call and ask the owner to call me back, and she never does. Im pissed, but I'm just left to assume she is busy dealing with other irate customers who have already paid and are waiting extraordinarily long for their prints or frames. The customer service here is zilch to none. Very quick to take your money, and slow to call you back when it takes 4 times longer than you expect to get what you have already paid for. NOT ONLY would I never recommend this place to anyone, but would call this place a fraud, and verge on calling the authorities on them. I don't know why this place is still in business, and hope that it doesnt last much longer. read more
