A gentleman named Ouri came to do the assessment. He answered all my questions satisfactorily concerning how the task was to be approached, so I kindly asked him to proceed. The work was very clean and done in less than an hour. Payment was made on the spot via Square, invoice by email. I paid for material and 1-hour labour at a reasonable cost. Our laundry room only had a 120v outlet...and not such a great washer and dryer combo. When it came…read moretime for us to get a new washer and dryer, we needed a dryer receptacle installed. We got a quick and very reasonable quote from Surrge. Our condo board also required some information from/about the electrician in order to approve our renovation request, and we were able to get it promptly from Surrge as well. Once we got the approval, we were able to schedule a time for the electrician to come within a few days. On the day of installation, the electrician was available early and we were asked if he could start 2 hours prior to the scheduled time. We didn't mind one bit and it turned out to be a good thing. I guess we weren't clear about position of the electrical panel from the laundry room and how wires would need to be run in the ceiling to get there, but the electrician (Mike) pointed this out and said unfortunately it would have to be more than what we were quoted. Mike explained why, what would have to happen, how long it would take, and said it would be up to us if we wanted to proceed. He was very clear and friendly. No pressure what-so-ever. We proceeded and he ran to Home Depot to get some materials since he was expecting something different. About 45 minutes later he returned and started working. He tried his best to keep things neat and tidy as possible...and tried to keep the number of holes he would need to make in the ceiling to a minimum as well. He left the pucks to help with the drywall repair as well. Overall, the work was relatively quick, and we were very happy with it all. Afterwards, we were contacted with the final cost breakdown and paid online. Mike then contacted an inspector and scheduled time for him to come back and check on the work. He called to let me know immediately, and reminded me on the morning of the day the inspector came. The whole team is very professional and courteous. We will definitely be using them again for future projects, which we chatted with Mike about so that would could get some ideas about what's possible, etc. while he was here as well. Shane and his team came and installed pot lights in one room and a ceiling light in the other bed room that they sourced and brought over. The whole process was relaxed and enjoyable, we were given options on the items we wanted installed. There was no clean up for my family at the end of the renovations. And we can't tell that anything was done Becuase the walls where they cut the holes for installation is clean sealed and painted for us. We also had our washroom fan installed, from the old noisy one, to this new quiet and high quality fan that makes little to no noise, and really takes out the smells. They fixed our kitchen sink when we asked, I didn't know this service was available! They installed dinner switches all over our apartment, and installed the lights in our kitchen and family room. I can't thank my friend enough for the referral to Shane and his team. The prices are more than fair! I would highly recommend this company for any of your home and office renovations!!
