Due to her reaction and the lack of accountability, I no longer felt comfortable leaving my dress with her. I was entrusting and paying a professional to handle my property with care and now, due to the damage that said professional caused, I have to find another seamstress to do repairs, with only a month left until my wedding, and at additional cost. Additionally, I was never informed that someone else, not Anne, would be taking the dress off-site to perform the alterations. I was led to believe that she would be handling everything personally, based on her repeated references to her years of experience. This lack of transparency was extremely troubling, especially considering the damage that occurred. What should have been a joyful step in my wedding planning turned into an upsetting and stressful ordeal. I would strongly caution anyone against bringing a valuable or sentimental item here, especially for something as meaningful and time sensitive as a wedding. I wish I had looked closer at the reviews on here because many of the reviews here echo my experience and I would implore you to consider them carefully before calling.
