Total misrepresentation from the beginning to the end. The "Free Consultation" is not free. You…read morewill pay for the analysis and write up that you are sent after (billed at a full $175/hour) Our bill was $277.50 for a two page email and a copy of a document obtained from the IRS website. I strongly discourage this company as we were taken advantage of over and over. We were told any and all consultations/emails/phone calls that were under 15 minutes were not billed. They all were. We were also told we had a choice to pay for consultant services or pay for them to just do everything. Once we decided we only wanted consultant services, we were sent a bill for a prior conversation and a prior email. Also for the amount of $277.50. We again were charged for "obtaining" a document that could have easily been taken from the IRS.gov website. That and an email that was not even a quarter of a page, plus an excel spreadsheet with simple formulations in it that was offered to me and implied was already formulated. Once we opted for only consultant services, we were billed for this spreadsheet at the rate of $185. Apparently it took over an hour for an accountant to plug in simple formulas into an excel spreadsheet. I was told that they already had the spreadsheet and it would just be a matter of emailing it. But once we chose the route of consultant only, it changed to spending over an hour to formulate it. I strongly suggest staying away from this company at all costs. They will get their billing one way or another. After some investigation, it seems he just went from working at a firm to starting his own business just two years ago. Maybe the billing practices at the attorney's office were this way. Not sure. Either way though, it is awful. For a business that is still relatively new, they are not too concerned with referrals.

They took over my books late last year and charged an outrageous $1,100 per week for "full-charge" bookkeeping. They never reconciled the bank accounts--a basic and critical task. While I was on vacation, a problem with my credit card machine stopped deposits from hitting my account. They didn't notice a thing. I only caught it after returning and digging through the issue myself. To make matters worse, I just discovered they haven't touched the books since March. I should've listened to my CPA from the beginning--he immediately recognized that this firm was inexperienced and disorganized. Learn from my mistake

I show up, guy not only didn't have my appointment, he didn't do estates. I could go back on April 15th and have them done. I told them from the get go I had guests in town and it would be very inconvenient. Ended up going there on the 15th. Guess who couldn't file electronically? Correct, they couldn't. Guess who had to go get cashier's checks at bank, go back and pay them then, wait in line at the post office in tax day? Correct, me. Back story is ridiculous. I'd been working on the estate since '24 as he died in 12/2023. I tried for two weeks to get the taxes done- there was a stumbling block every where I turned. I was juggling another estate and trust account as well. Owed money. I shook my head. Had to get 1/2 from his sister as my mum's estate paid the other 1/2. Manager said 2 other specifically qualified looked it over, it was correct. Guess who's getting a refund, you guessed it.

Had to follow up myself as to when the deed would be ready as it had been several weeks since my initial visit. I was told that I would have to pay for the service before the deed could be signed and I told them that their employee at the front desk said I could pay for the service the day of the signing. The lady on the phone from that office said that was not their policy. WOW....again just rude! Had to follow up again as it had been a month since I had signed the deed......where is the recorded document? They said they would mail it to me that day.
