One she had done for "free" she said since it had taken so long not taking into account that I gave her $20 to do them (simple hemming). The other pair were just mangled. She was to put a new lining in them and they had been taken apart and left that way. Unbelievable how she runs her "business". Needless to say, I was devastated as I had tried on so many dresses and that sample was the only one I loved and felt confident in. My wedding was 3 months away. The only option i had was to have it altered to look more like the dress I tried on. Fariba came to the rescue! Her talent and expertise is next level! Extensive alterations were required. She spent so much time with me making sure I was fully informed and sure of what I wanted to do. In the end we completely cut off the train, removed the pockets to be able to take more fabric out of the skirt, hemmed the dress to the perfect length, added built in bra cups and took in the bodice and straps. In the end it had become the dress that I had fallen in love with. Aside from her amazing skills, Fariba's kindness and huge heart meant the world to me.
