The top was lifting and the action was in desperate need of a setup (to the point where they had to shim both the neck and saddle a bit). I can't say the repair was blazing fast or i'd be misleading (around 3 weeks turn around), but frankly I would rather the repair be done well than fast. You cannot even see the seam where the top was lifting, the action is phenomenal, and the interactions with the employees were always jovial and pleasant. You can tell the techs working there absolutely love what they do, and that's always refreshing to see in artisanal jobs like luthier work.

I came in looking for help with equipment, but was met with dismissive and unprofessional behavior from the staff. One worker in particular was rude, degrading, and even made racially insensitive remarks. He knows who he is. Instead of offering assistance, he made assumptions about me -- including whether I could even afford the equipment -- based solely on how I was dressed. That kind of judgment is unacceptable. What happened to treating long-time customers with respect? The new staff clearly lack the manners and basic customer service skills that once made this place special. I left feeling disrespected and extremely frustrated. I should have asked to speak with a manager. If this business wants to survive, they seriously need to retrain their staff on how to treat people with dignity. Just disappointing. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!
