I would leave zero stars but it isn't an option. avoid at all costs…read more they don't take care of the property, everything you need done will be done late and bare minimum. the "property cleanup crew" they sent was literally an elderly man and his two adult children. they showed up in a rented box truck with one shovel. they then stole MY shovel, and the yard was not cleaned up. bricks strewn about, poison ivy, it was pathetic. I'm a combat veteran with ptsd. I have a medical marijuana card and grow my own medicine. the owner of the building I was renting was fine with it, as it was completely legal. Rent Prov called the police on us, who showed up and told them that I wasn't breaking any laws. They then tried to evict us, even though the owner told us it was okay since the police made it clear it was all on the level. I should also include some pertinents: no one else lived in the building except my mother who rented the floor below us. there are only two units. literally no one complained. also, when they couldn't get in touch with me because it was Friday night at 9pm, they began harassing my elderly mother (who again, rents a separate apartment and has nothing to do with my LEGAL medical marijuana. Lawyered up and they backed down like the unprofessional losers they are. we broke our lease early to get away from these incompetent morons. do yourself a favor, avoid at all costs. the lawyer was provided to me by a veterans organization free of charge. he looked into Brian Weinstein at rent prov and apparently he is WELL known in the legal community as a royal POS.

Make sure all your bills make sense, and keep with your periphery. Renter's market is nothing to play with in today's world, making you want to settle for a "fair experience". I would have given 1 star and a much worse review if the end process had been escalated. Communication is off-set by the strong need to stay afloat, and if there's an opportunity for them to win, they will. The bane of renting regardless where you go, just personally it did not fit my needs.

Five star worthy for caliber of homes and apartments from which to choose, fantastic website, and…read morethe amazing Kevin Fox. Honestly - work with him. Zero stars for the unreliable, untrustworthy, and and insensitive Jillian Siqueland. We have worked with Kevin for a few years - and have been nothing but pleased. Jillian, couldn't be more opposite if she tried. After viewing her apartment, we knew we wanted it. We filled out the appropriate background checks, and placed a security deposit. While we could not sign the lease right away, we needed to wait a few weeks for the closing of our home we just sold, we did tell her that we wanted this property. We requested that she call us as soon as another potential renter entered the equation. We continued to visit the property, on three separate occasions, took measurements, and began planning for our new home. Jillian was away at one point, and we spoke with her coworker, assuring him that we wanted this property, too. After not hearing from Jillian for 8 days, we reached back out to confirm our impending sale - and intent to sign a lease within the next couple of days. Jillian coldly let us know that the property had actually been rented to someone else. Despite our agreement to inform us that another renter was interested, instead of calling - as we agreed- Jillian just rented it! I spoke with her in person, and asked why she would go back on her word. Why my deposit meant nothing - not even the ability to have a phone call. I told her that I felt like the rug had been ripped right under us. Jillian, calmly said that this is how she conducts her business. That she had sent an email two days prior asking if we would pay $50 more a month. I told her no such email had been received, and that people who are interested in properties will always respond to their agents. I told her we were going to sign the lease if anyone else even thought about renting it. There had been no doubt in our minds. Come to find out - Jillian sent the email - to an incorrect email address. I found this out through the manager, Ed hardy, who read the email to me. In it was no mention of another renter - and the closing even said "I will call you if someone else rents!" Obviously she never intended to call, nor follow up- and as I said earlier- we didn't even get this email because the address was misspelled. She handed me back my useless deposit check. Jillian said that she was sorry - because this must be "a big pain in the ass." Yes Jillian - it is. And now, it's yours. Never, ever, ever ever work with this wretchedly cold, and useless woman.

Our realtor both times was Ellen Kasle, and she was professional, friendly, honest helpful and kind in every respect. She priced our house properly and it sold immediately, which made the entire process so incredibly easy -- we only had to have one open house and a few additional showings over the course of a single weekend, so getting back to normal life (aka not living in a staged house) was quick and easy. Being first-time buyers and sellers, I felt Ellen was always working in our best interest and made transparence a priority. She helped us prepare the house for selling, gently and honestly told us what needed doing and what not to worry about, and helped us through what was both emotional and exciting with grace and kindness. I wouldn't hesitate to work with Residential Properties of Ellen again -- they're so well-educated, very responsive and total professionals.

They first…read moresit down to thoroughly understand your specific buying or selling situation and potential challenges are identified/discussed upfront. With an excellent understanding of market dynamics and strategic positioning of my home, SMG developed a unique strategy to drive a very positive outcome when we went to market. The team went above and beyond for me to ensure a streamlined and successful process and exceeded my goals as a seller yet again! I am a repeat client having worked with Steve on two sales: the first was sale of a lower Manhattan condo just before COVID which sold at the highest dollar per square foot in the building for some time. This year in 2024, we recently closed on the sale of my residence in the Edgewood area of Cranston, RI - which again ended up being the highest price sold in Edgewood - ever- for single-family home that wasn't a waterfront or direct water-view property. Steve really did an unparalleled job of marketing the home through drone video and professional photos showcasing my home's unique features and took a multi-faceted approach to reach the target buying audience both local and afar. The home went under contract within one week of listing as a result. Steve and his team communicated with all parties throughout the process and quickly dealt with any issues that arose. They stayed on top of all aspects of the sales/closing process to ensure it was fully managed from start to finish. I couldn't be happier with the overall service and constant communication provided. The Steven Miller Group has my highest recommendation!
