The store does have multiple racks of reduced price clothes, which makes them about the same price as in USA. In multiple visits here, I have been able to buy specific colors that had been sold out in USA. Today, I was able to get the leopard Everything 2L crossbody for $83. It retails in USA for $78 before tax - and it has been taken off the shelves as 'past season' in USA. I'm in Cancun every 6 weeks or so and always shop here!

Super creepy experience here on a busy Saturday afternoon. This was the busiest I have ever seen…read morethe Super Selecto. Lines extended down the aisles. I got my items and used self check out, which took under 5 minutes. An attentive employee was there assisting people. I had Ubered to the Selecto and asked the driver to wait, saying I would pay him directly for the return to my hotel. It's the first time I had done this. I usually walk down to the Starbucks and grab an Uber from there. Thank God I didn't. When I reached the ground level exit a man had followed me! I stepped outside the entrance and he was shouting questions at me in English, asking where my husband was and where was I from, and didn't I want to talk to him!!! I looked for my Uber driver as the man was advancing on me. My driver saw what was happening and pulled up to me quickly, nearly running the man over. He literally saved me from a BAD situation. Where was the Super Selecto security??? I am in Cancun once a month. This is the first time I have felt unsafe.

Cancun did not disappoint! On the first day that I went to La Isla, I picked out a pair of white all cotton jeans and a pair of denim all cotton shorts. With the sale discounts, the total came to just $30US!!! I wore those shorts at my hotel and they were super stylish (high waisted) and extremely soft and comfy. I decided I wanted another pair, and I decided I wanted a second pair of white jeans that I had tried and put back. So once again, I got a taxi to La Isla. I quickly found the pair of white jeans, but, the shorts were no where to be found. There was a gentleman working, so I asked. Luckily I was wearing the pair I'd purchased 2 days earlier, so we were able to get the item info from the tags. He could see they had a single pair remaining. He looked. I looked, but we were unable to find them. Bummer. So, I went to the check out line and while waiting, he came rushing up with the shorts in hand! He had found them! Could not have asked for better service! And the selections were still good with more items being marked down daily. Great shopping experience!

I am writing this to bring attention to a serious scam that occurred inside your Walmart 24h store…read morein Cancun. During my visit, a man named Mike, wearing a Walmart name tag, approached us inside the store and offered what he claimed was an official Walmart promotion: * 6 round-trip ferry tickets to Isla Mujeres * A full-day golf cart rental * Lunch on the island * Hotel pickup All for USD $120, with a $30 deposit. He repeatedly assured us that he worked for Walmart, not any resort, and that it was NOT a timeshare sales pitch. However, later that night he messaged us saying the pickup would be changed to 8:00 AM so he could take us to another resort for breakfast -- something we never agreed to. When we insisted on sticking to the original 9:30 AM plan, he showed up the next morning and again pressured us to go to the resort to attend a 1.5-hour presentation, which was obviously a timeshare scheme. When we refused, he told us the trip was canceled and that our $30 deposit was being kept by his "boss." He then claimed we would have to return to Walmart to get it back. Before we could even discuss it further, he jumped onto a bus and disappeared. This was misrepresentation, dishonesty, and a clear scam -- all happening inside Walmart premises, by someone wearing a Walmart name badge. I am requesting: 1. Walmart Cancun to investigate how scammers are operating inside your store while appearing to be legitimate staff. 2. The resort involved to take responsibility for using deceptive tactics to lure tourists into timeshare presentations. 3. A refund of the $30 deposit that was taken under false pretenses. 4. Measures to ensure this does not happen to other visitors. Tourists should feel safe inside a well-known retailer like Walmart -- not targeted by scammers pretending to be staff. I just love Plaza La Fiesta! It's a trip back in time to what souvenir shopping in Cancun was in…read morethe 1990's. This place is HUGE and has literally everything. If you are thirsty, they have bottled water. They have tequila samplings, though not all the time. I was there when they had a sampling with a scorpion in the bottle (ummm ... no). They have some small snacks near the cash register. The place has TONS of Corona beer clothing and souvenirs. They probably have a few hundred different Cancun t-shirts. They have caps. They have Sombreros for $17! They have beach covers. They have dresses to include white cotton "confirmation" ones. They have lots of ceramics and hot sauce bundles and vanilla in various sizes. They have souvenir magnets. Pretty much if you can imagine it as a souvenir, they have it. And, prices are much more reasonable than at other shops. Who has $10 t-shirts at La Isla? They do! Additionally, they have 2 benches in front of the store with 2 figurines that are good photo spots!

They do custom birthday cakes on the second floor, too, so no need to pay exhorbitant hotel prices to celebrate a loved one's special day! Entire cakes here are $17-$20! Definitely bring your own shopping bag & be prepared to tip the bagger a few coins at checkout. You can pay by card or even US dollars, but change is in Mex pesos. Great place!

A tub of mango, pineapple, or watermelon was only two dollars each! They also had a lot of baked goods that looked yummy and a small food court. I also tried the flan, which was very delicious and not too sweet (which is how I like it). Overall, great grocery store! I would definitely recommend checking it out if you are in the area.

The Boutique Palacio was the only one insert into and what a great concept. It has lots of different boutique stores in smaller sections. Lots of options. The upscale side of things was a little surprising. A lot of the prices were actually more expensive than what you would pay in the US, or at best about the same, so do not expect luxury shopping deals here. There are some really good looking restaurants throughout the mall and a couple different dessert and ice cream places too. We tried one gelato place that shaped the ice cream into a flower or rose shape, which was pretty cool and different. One thing I did appreciate was security. There were military police around the property, so the whole place felt safe and well monitored. Overall, it is a clean, modern shopping center with a lot to do. Just do not come expecting bargains, come for the atmosphere, restaurants, and variety instead.
