We originally chose them because the prior owner had done a beautiful job remodeling our friend's kitchen, however, when we reached out to them, it was the new owner, Don McGlaughin, who did the work.... And, we could not have been happier with our decision to hire him! From our first interaction with Don, his wife Lauren, and his contracting worker/partner Jeremy, to our last, we were completely impressed. Their work ethic, attention to detail, and craftmanship were so impressive and their responsive customer service was second to none! Any construction project that displaces you in your home can be stressful, but if you are going to have contractors "living" in your house for an extended period, Don and Jeremy were a pleasure to have around. Their fun senses of humor, and their calm demeanors did not get in the way of their ability to stay on track with our projects. Don timed everything really well, from cabinet arrivals, demolition, and installation, to coordinating with the other company's flooring, countertops, and painters. He came early and stayed late whenever needed, and never left before cleaning up and leaving his workspace spotless. Don and Jeremy worked together with us to come up with a great design for our kitchen remodel that came out absolutely spectacular! They brought their creatively collaborative ideas for our Master Bathroom (working with Volpe Tiles, also terrific!), that involved breaking through a walk-in closet (which they rebuilt) and building us a new closet along our bedroom wall. The result was a beautiful bathroom "oasis" and two great organized closets. We are so grateful to Don and his team - The joy that these two remodeled rooms have brought us is immeasurable! Alberto's brother Daniel did the majority of the work and was meticulous. Daniel came early every morning, was incredibly polite, tried not to disturb us, and cleaned up each day. She worked wonders by helping us choose complimentary flooring, cabinetry, faucets and other hardware. She produced a wonderful solution for our home. As great as the designer was, the craftsmen were equally excellent. Demolition went off without a hitch. They made sure to constantly clean debris, dust, and other bits. The highlight was the tile workers' expertise: they were EXCEPTIONAL. The quality of their work still astounds us. They made the bathroom. Our master bathroom is now the best room in our house. We had Bryan's Handyman service come out and do some work around our house to prepare for my mom…read moremoving in with us. They sent a two man crew, Ruben and Luis, who did a wonderful job. They prepped and painted two rooms, including the baseboards, trim and ceiling. They replaced and painted a set of closet doors and replaced the rickety attic stairs. They also fix the bedroom door where it is now fully functional. The work took two days, but they transformed the two bedrooms. The crew was polite and professional. They worked quickly, quietly and with skill. I could not have asked for better. Mr. Grubb was very responsive to emails and quick to address all our concerns. Thank you for the good work.
