Now quit asking me to round up at this for profit thrift store. Not gonna do it.

Location was inconvenient for me as it was a 45 minute drive, but the friendly and helpful staff, combined with their large and beautiful facilities made it worthwhile. Second Harvest Heartland was easy to work with. Their online reservation system made it easy to see which time slots could accommodate us. We were even able to use their large meeting room space to host a 2 hour lunch and networking event prior to our volunteering session. The large room included 2 screens for projecting presentations from your laptop, sound system with microphone and a strong and free WiFi. All of this was of great value to our group! As one of the leaders of Asian Professionals Alliance in MN (APAM), we brought together 70 volunteers from across APAM member companies: 3M, Best Buy, Cargill, General Mills, Medtronic, Target & US Bank. Not only was this venue large enough to accommodate our large group, they were so organized, gave us great instruction and constantly kept the workplace clean, comfortable. They had 6 computers at the entrance for each individual to register for the event. Half of our group boxed care packages for senior citizens while the other half worked to inspect and package 40 pound bags of potatoes for food shelves across the country. My favorite part is that they share the results of your volunteer efforts at the end of your shift. I would absolutely recommend this place for volunteering sessions - for individuals, small groups and large groups!

Nothing, not even the courtesy to tell me I was denied and for what reason. We would have given her the best home! With so much love. I talked to a few tech friends one who worked there and was told horror stories about this establishment. They discriminate on applications before even speaking to potential adopters. They do not communicate (obviously) and are certainly not a no kill shelter. Sadly for the animals this place is detrimental to saving animals, quite the contrary.

Impossible to find, right? Well, thanks to Rescue Pets are Wonderful (RPAW), we were able to find him EXACTLY that. The RPAW volunteer we worked with was nothing short of amazing, patient, and super helpful. With her help, we were able to find a healthy, happy, neutered kitten (all cats are fixed prior to adoption) that fulfilled ALL of my boyfriend's insane wants. We honestly couldn't be happier. We are exceedingly grateful to RPAW for connecting us with our new wonderful family member. I highly, HIGHLY recommend this organization if you are looking for a new dog or cat companion (or if you want to volunteer!).

There was probably under a dozen people doing laundry; some waited while others drop off and left. There was a wash and dryer for every load size. Washer range from $3.75, $4.75, $6.00, $9.50, $12.00, and $20. Dryer cost from $2.75-6.00. There is an app, but even a tech savvy millennial like me couldn't get it to work so I ended up using my credit card instead. There was one employee who maintain the area. The atmosphere was quiet, which was nice. AMENITIES: There were vending machines available for snacks and sodas. There are about 7 laundry cart and folding stations. Lots of benches and seating area. They have soap vending machine available, change machine, and ATM. Restroom is also available. They have outlets with USB plug-in throughout seating area. They also have an outdoor vacuum to clean your car while you wait. Decent amount of parking. Wash took about 26 minutes for a $12.00 machine and dryer took about 31 minutes for a $4.00 machine. 4/5 stars because there was mold-like when I retrieved my wash. I checked the others, it didn't look dirty. It may look that way because it was wet. Overall, I would come back for large wash. I spent $32 for my two comforters and waited slightly over an hour for it to be done.
