My family was involved in a multi-vehicle accident on the 5 South/60 East freeway interchange last year. They were sandwiched but thankfully okay, however, all three of them sustained mild-to-moderate degrees of whiplash. On September 2, 2015, my vehicle was totaled and I was in a lot of pain due to a driver who ran a red light. Known Myrna for many years and when I mentioned my accident, she suggested I use Michael. Had previous experience in dealing with Accident Attorneys, In 2013, I was a passenger in my son's vehicle when he was struck by a driver who ran a red light, that lawyer told me the same thing and it ended up being a Medical Mill where they really don't help you they just herd you through and collect payment, ultimately seen my own doctor. I was very skeptical, however, she helped me get treatment for my injuries and I felt the doctors helped me as much as they could, or as much as the other drivers insurance would allow (he had the minimum). My case was resolved fairly quickly (last accident took over 2 years to settle). Initially dealt with Michael, however it was Myrna who held my hand from start to finish. When I found out what minimum coverage gets regarding pain and suffering, it was Myrna who listened to my rant and calmly explained how the law works. She was "Absolutely Amazing!!" READ BEFORE YOUR NEXT ACTION: About a month ago, I had purchased my very first car with my own cash. It was a lovely and stunning white G35 coupe. During the transaction, the pre-owner admitted that his insurance on the car was effective until 3 more weeks. As a poor college student, I thought it was a great bonus along with the beautiful car. So I didn't register for insurance. The shitty situation comes afterwards. During a rainy day, nearly 2 weeks after the purchase of the G35, a white Jeep swerved perpendicular to my lane on the freeway. I had no way to avoid it. I ended up with my front bumper crushed in, fracturing my right toe as well as swollen face and nearly deaf left ear from deployed airbags, sore chest and seatbelt strap mark across the neck, and bruised knees and arms, and the worst part was the fear coming from dealing with this car accident. I was alone, frightened, stressed, infuriated, and physically damaged. The entire I-10 East Indian Hill Freeway was blocked due to this fatal accident. The ambulance took me to the hospital and the car was towed. I was charged by the ambulance $1,400 for a quick 2 mile ride, $900 for the towing storage, $700 for getting my blood pressure checked at the hospital, all of which I DID NOT ASK FOR OR EVEN WANTED TO HAPPEN. I had no expertise, kept getting billed from left and right, up and down, and front and back. It was extremely frustrating.
