If you saw my other review for another attorney at this firm. It's just for that attorney (hence why it's ONLY on that attorney's specific Yelp page). But all the other attorneys that I've encountered, including Elizabeth Yang (herself) have been WONDERFUL!!! I was referred to Yang Law Offices by a parent of one of my son's besties. I figured it would be a right fit as they are Asian and I'm Asian. I believe the issue with the previous attorney was that they were not East Asian (specifically Chinese). The moment I had an issue with the other attorney, Elizabeth Yang contacted me immediately to remedy the issue and assigned me to Clara Yeung. Clara Yeung WAS AMAZING!!! It was the PERFECT fit as she's Cantonese and understands the culture to help me with what I wanted out of my divorce case!!! Also her assistant, Janet Chan is amazing as well. This law group is shady as hell! I would be extremely hesitant to believe any of the 5 star reviews. They asked me to leave a review, so here it is! My family and I were at Asian American Expo this Saturday and we walked by the booth of "yang law office". They were doing a 'spin the wheel' to when prizes, so we stopped to see what the requirements to play were because our 3.5 year old son loves spinning the wheels. A woman working the booth told me to scan the QR code she showed me and leave a 5 star Google review, and then she would let us spin the wheel! I told her, absolutely not, and that's so shady! She rolled her eyes at me and shrugged like I was being obnoxious. I have never in my life used the services of this law firm, yet they wanted me to leave a 5 star review in exchange for a prize..... that sounds like bribery to me! Choosing the right lawyer is such an important decision to make, I would not trust a law group that has to "buy" or bribe people for positive reviews. read more

When I went to Yang Law offices, I didn't know what to expect. I was going through a issue and needed to form a trust. My father came with me and he also needed to form a trust. We didn't have much experiences with trusts and the lawyer there did such a nice job making sure we were comfortable and spent a lot of time talking to us to make sure we understood everything. Even to this day, they still reach out once in a while to make sure I'm still doing okay and if we had any questions about our trusts. I agreed, and we set it up for today 3/28/2023 at 9:30am. I got multiple confirmation emails, so I stood around waiting for the call. It's now 10:30, I sent an email to Noel at 10:15 stating I never received a call and have not heard anything since then. Based on the reviews, I figured it would be professional and get the 10 minute consultation so I can make an educated decision between attorneys, but they made the choice for me. I hired this law firm for a China patent, a business formation, trademark and logo mark and none of them were completed successfully! NONE! Every single case had some kind of issue needing to be resolved and ALL of which they were asking absurd and outrageous amounts of money to get resolved. This law firm is disorganized, dysfunctional and filled with incompetent lawyers who will pass your case from person to person with no coordination or communication from within. My then-fiancé and I wanted to get a prenuptial agreement prior to our January 2022 wedding and marriage. His lawyer recommended Elizabeth Yang's office, and I am so glad we were able to work together! Once referred, Elizabeth contacted me immediately via email and even included her cell phone number. She encouraged me to contact her at my earliest convenience, and she even picked up later in the evening (didn't expect that, but it was nice). She walked me through the cost and process of reviewing a prenup with one of her attorneys (not too bad), and she had me work with one of her partners, Iris. Iris carefully walked me through the parts of the prenup that were truly legal jargon (harder to understand in layman's terms in addition to the unclear legal implications written out in this document). Longer story short, Iris also showed concern for the validity and craftsmanship of the prenup, and I should have taken her concern closer to heart because the other legal party never got back to my fiancé and me about updating our prenup agreement. This messed up our wedding ceremony, so we were unable to legally tie the knot, but Elizabeth's team worked fast to recommend another legal team for my fiancé, and their recommendation helped my fiancé draft a newer, better document for us. Today, Elizabeth and I went through the new prenup, and she made sure to reiterate the aspects of it that might have been unclear to me. She was transparent, provided examples, and removed the sense of being overwhelmed by this 20-page document. While the cost was not as easygoing on my wallet as I would have liked, it was still very much affordable (I lost money having to review two different prenup documents). Besides, you definitely get what you pay for. Do NOT cheap out if you are considering a prenup!!! Elizabeth and Iris were professional, helpful, quick, and efficient. Additionally, they can provide recommendations for second-party attorneys if you and your significant other are considering a prenuptial agreement. I called to ask questions in regards to a divorce. Every time I reached out to speak to someone and have questions answered I would have numerous different people sending me an email asking me to fill out a 20 page questionnaire and a credit card authorization form. They sent me 6 of those emails and never spent more than 30 seconds on the phone with me to answer any of my questions. They charged my credit card 10,000 dollars even though I never signed up as a client and never spoke to anyone in regards to a possible case. I have emailed 3 different people in their office for a refund and called their office and left my information. No one has responded to me. I never signed any contract or agreement with them and now I have to dispute the charge with my credit card company because they will not respond to me. read more
