All three employees had moved to the back of the restaurant, leaving us alone in the front with no way to exit the building. We had to wait for an employee to eventually come out and unlock the door to let us out. Being physically confined in a building against our will was a terrifying experience that felt immediately threatening. We did not feel safe again until we were finally out of the building and in the safety of our car. Locking customers in is a major fire code violation and a massive failure in management.
