They didn't take any of my clothes, guess it's not what's "in", which is okay. I go around here from time to time to spot some nice deals on clothes from Aritzia / Lulu. I noticed quite a lot of poorly used clothes on the rack and even with holes and rips. You really have to ensure the clothes are in good enough condition to your liking before purchasing. They do offer refund anyway just in case within 7 days, clearance items are final though so make the right decision. I have purchased a few great deals from here. I think it's a nice place to get second hand or even brand new items when you get lucky. So many lightly used but you just have to be patient and go through stuff, eventually you'll find nice ones. Quick tip on white clothes - check collar area and underarms to ensure no discolouration. Darker colour clothes - I don't know about you but I dislike deodorant / lotion marks when I pick it up from the rack. Just a random thought! The dresses were organized by colours and length (long and short) and she told us not to worry too much about colour because these dresses will come in other colours if you order it. Now the dresses itself in my opinion are okay. The styles were nice and ranged around 500$ which is standard for those types of dresses and especially the brands. As I entered I was greeted by a very friendly lady asking if I needed help or was looking for anything in particular. I told her I was just browsing so she backed off. As I walked through the store I saw all kinds of sparkly accessories, dresses, shoes, purses and cute outfits. All displays were put together perfectly by colour and many included shoe combinations to go with the outfit. As I wandered about and fell in love with a pair of shoes the sales lady appeared. She explained that their speciality is putting outfits together for people or accessorizing and outfit that someone brings into the store. (she must have noticed the confused look on my face) Perfect!!! I am always in a rush and I am not so good at putting things together so, I picked up the shoes and then......... I asked what would go with the shoes. Yes, I know it was kinda like shopping backwards.... picking shoes first then the outfit. Not bad for someone who was just browsing. Next thing I knew, I ended up purchasing a lovely summer dress and a hand bag to go with the dress and some bling bling bracelets. Of all the shops I have visited while qi pao shopping, this was the shop I was happiest with. Elsa the owner was very patient with my mom and I. We were taking a look at the huge book full of cloth samples as well as dresses they've made. It was nearly closing and she didn't rush us at all. I tried on one of their sample qi paos and almost died... fit like a glove! I didn't get the same feeling w/ the Pacific Mall crap as the gold materials there were too cheap to be reckoned with. But as always, quality also comes w/ a pricetag. For a custom made traditional silk qi pao it would be approx. $299 (includes alteration). A qi pao w/ double stitching on the lining would be $340. You get to pick your material from the sample book or you can provide them w/ material and they'll make it for you. Still thinking about whether to get a traditional one or a modern westernized qi pao instead. But if we go the traditional route... this is the place to be. Their qi paos are really amazing.. and it's no wonder they provide them for Fairchild TV's Miss Chinese Toronto pageant the last few yrs.
