I was at the Bellevue ER. The RN never rounded in 6 hours. Never took a medical history or…read moreanything. Never lifted the arm rails on the bed, or even gave me a call button. Ignored! When I fell to the ground from a seizure, & she eventually found me me on the ground, RN Reeves kicked me & demanded I get up off the floor, & acted like I was having a tantrum. Never checked my airway, if I was breathing, or even had a pulse. She told the Dr, & documented in my chart, that I "placed myself on the ground voluntarily", which is not true. When I had an MRI of the brain shortly after from another facility, it was proven that I had a small brain hemorrhage. Because of her words, I was not diagnosed or treated when this occurred. I could have died. Three of the nurses were talking loudly at the nursing station about each Patient there; private medical history, making fun of them, & how they were intentionally inflicting pain in one. I heard them making fun of me too. I have an extensive background in healthcare, & I've never seen such horribly negligent & abusive nursing in my life. They were willing to let me die on that floor, then have to actually provide any medical care or treatment. And when I requested to be released, or transferred to a facility with a higher level of care because of this, they absolutely refused me. They only agreed when I said that I would just call 911 and be transferred because of the seizure.

I expressed to them it runs in my family and my mother had to have surgery at 26 to have hers fixed. Fast forward, I have been trying to conceive, unsuccessfully for 5+ years because I trusted their diagnosis. I finally went to Nashville Fertility Clinic for a second opinion. I saw two wonderful doctors and they confirmed my suspicions, I do have endometriosis and I have had it for quite a long time. I had surgery TODAY (4/21/2026). During surgery they discovered not only do I have stage 4 endometriosis (it was everywhere), my tubes were closed, and I also had a polyp that they removed for me. Thanks for absolutely nothing, Vanderbilt. Y'all charged me $740+ AFTER insurance to give me the wrong diagnosis and cause me to live in excruciating pain for years after. The billing department gave us the run around and acted like no one knew anything about this charge. We finally just gave up. Incredibly unhelpful, consistently unreliable. Not to mention the female doctor (that I was hopeful would help me) was very rude and so was the lady at the front desk. I highly recommend going elsewhere for your needs, somewhere that cares about their patients.

And in today's political climate surrounding reproductive rights, I wanted to someone who give me my options for how to navigate without judgement and based on science. I found Samantha Bleull, MD. Her office staff was fast and efficient and welcoming. She was on time and I didn't have to wait. She was down to earth and really explained all of my options in detail. I am a hospitalist, but my speciality is not women's health or reproductive medicine, so I appreciated that. I was able to walk a few feet down to the breast center and they were nice enough to fit me in for a same day appointment for my mammogram. The front desk staff were so funny, congenial, and really lightened a day that could have turned stressful and heavy. The offices are clean and well lit. It is a LARGE space and could be perceived as overwhelming by some. There are several Vanderbilt specialities housed in this mall-type complex. There are several open waiting areas. A vending machine area with snacks, drinks, microwaveable foods, and microwave meals. Parking is a little hectic, but I didn't have much trouble finding a space. If you have more than one appointment, it is situated in a shopping center with several stores, and are near several restaurants and antique stores.

A lot of wild reviews here! I am happy to say, for the most part, our experience at TriStar Skyline…read moreMedical has been positive. I have personally been seen within the medical plaza and never had a bad experience, but I think that varies from practice to practice. They have a wide variety of medical practices on site in addition to the actual hospital and emergency room. Skyline Medical seems to have a rough wrap, so when my partner was recently recommended to have surgery here, we were both worried. However, we have been wildly impressed and thankful throughout the process. I will say that the process leading up to date of surgery was less than pleasant a due to miscommunications, rescheduling, and general confusion. But once we got him in, things have been great. The hospital is going through renovations, which is great to see. This has been a multi year project and they are making good progress. The hospital is in excellent condition, is updated and well taken care of. They have invested a lot and it is easily noticeable. The rooms are spacious and well outfitted. This hospital is keeping up with technology and design of today, and it shows in most places throughout the hospital. Dr. Marlar was professional, communicative and provided a sense of comfort before surgery. All the floor staff including housekeeping, culinary, techs and nurses have been wonderful, friendly and helpful! Desk staff around the hospital is hit and miss, but nothing terrible. Skyline Medical also has one of the only flight based medical teams in Nashville. This team is very busy as those helicopters stay on the move! They do have more food options than your normal hospital with a Subway, along with two food trucks and of course the cafeteria. If you choose the cafeteria, you already know what to expect. You are at a hospital, not a chef inspired restaurant. The hospital is clean and well taken care of. Overall, we are thankful to have Skyline Medical in the neighborhood. It's been a great experience.

Dr. Wei tried various treatment methods and would not stop until I completely got well again. He is very persistent and caring and he takes his time to explain to you what is the issue and what it actually means to your health. I have even been to him to have a complete physical done and he called me himself to tell me the results. My Dad had a nasty cold last winter and one day Dr. Wei ran into my Dad out in public and took the time to ask him is he was better and if his cold had gone away completely. The man really cares about his patients. The rest of his staff are great too. Everyone is very friendly, helpful, and efficient. Note: One of the nurses told me that Sunday is probably their busiest day of the week and sometimes they have so many people that when the waiting room gets full, people have to line up outside in the hall to wait for their turn. I like to go on Saturday mornings because it is usually not that long of a wait to see Dr. Wei.
