I had one window tinted that had been replaced, so it needed the new tinting. I had an appointment and they started on time. I waited on the job and that was the problem. I asked for a chair so I could have a seat as the work was done, there were none in the showroom, and was told I could NOT have a chair, can you believe that. 1 hour for the work and I was supposed to stand that whole time. TLDR: Auto tint with poor quality cuts and edging, they defend as normal I hate to write a bad review, especially for a small business. I picked out this place because they offered ceramic 3M for my Tesla Model X and the reviews looked decent. I'm from Seattle where I had my windows tinted prior. To be upfront, the company did offer my money back, but even with that process today I was met with defensive excuses for why the way they do their edges are the norm, hence the review. Also, I had my tint placed on the east side location. Please see photos for yourself and see if you are okay with this. I will list my problems in bullet point. 1). Contaminants. My passenger window was full of dust, at first Javier said they would go away and on closer inspection he realized they are under the film and he did offer to redo it right away. That said, today I explained to the manager that he is doing his work with the garage door open, even if its not windy here in El Paso you are asking for contamination. Even offering that critique was met with a defense that it wasn't windy on day of install. 2). Edges. See photos. They explain that because of the rubber sealing gaskets around my car, they cannot take the film to the edge of the window. See the crude cuts near the front edge with the light coming through when the window is half down. They also say that since no light peaks through when the window is fully up it isn't a problem. This is a problem, looks like I tried to do the tint myself. This isn't an issue of using a laser precut film or doing by hand. This is a business choice to try and limit people coming back if the edges weren't micro edged correctly. Going edge to edge is a very common thing for Teslas, I have never seen a Tesla or a frameless window tinted like this. Please call around town for the other higher rated tinters, they laughed at this notion. They kept telling me that my expectation is for a factory tinted window, it is not. I understand the color and process are totally different. I am expecting a window that looks like it was professionally done. 3). Mess. I don't expect my car washed or cleaned, but at least clean the mess you made. Afterwards, found some glue residue on my door panel, as well as some tint cut on the window. Things I normally would brush aside but when you are met with excuses, makes the experience even worse. Looks like there are plenty of people who are happy with their work. I might have higher standards, but I don't believe this kind of a tint job is the "norm." They will likely post in defense of why they do their edges here like this for frameless, but understand that it's a choice they make, not a widespread practice for these cars. Please do your due diligence and call around with specific questions prior to getting your tint job done. Will be going to get everything re done at the other highly rated place on the other side of town. read more

Absolutely regret getting tinted here. 450$ job and left gaps on 4 of the back windows. They replaced them once, STILL HAD GAPS. Took it back a 3rd time, they tried to color in the gap on the rear cab windows with sharpie. Said they couldnt fix the door windows because they'll peel. I should have went to GLM, they did 3 cars I've owned and ive never had anything like this happen. read more

I've had a few cars tinted here (and know several others who have gone here), and have always received good service and quality work. They're an authorized 3M dealer, so they carry high quality films in several price ranges. Their 3M film carries a nationwide "Limited Lifetime Warranty", but they do require the receipt & warranty card to honor it. Most recently they tinted my wife's new SUV, and we choose to use the 3M Crystaline Ceramic film. It was expensive, but given the amount of sun we get in El Paso, I felt like it was worth it, for the additional protection it offers. They did a great job, but we did have a small problem with one window. We returned a few days later to show them the issues, and they schedule us an appointment and fixed it... no questions asked. We're very happy with the final results, and the service we received. read more

THE WORST TINTING JOB EVER! Poor job, poor customer service, poor problem solving. Would NEVER recommend. They DEEP SCRATCHED with a cutter the rear bumper of my brand new 2019 Lincoln MKZ. They use a tool belt and obviously they didn't had the precaution to store away their cutter when working on my car. Also, they left some air bubbles on side windows and rear glass. The owner didn't reimbursed what I paid even though it would be the HONEST thing to do besides cover the damage. Scratch didn't fully go away with the polish applied at dealership. They polished the farthest that they could before running the paint off but scratch is still visible. Owner thought that by telling me that he tints high end cars, the problem would go away. These guys did a job! Super friendly and welcoming staff and environment. We are VERY happy with the window tinting top quality work, they even went the extra mile to recommend that we do the brow of the front for a great deal. We went with the 3M brand in the Limo for the back of our Suburban. The tint works great, we don't even have to turn on our A/C anymore, just use the recycle air button and we are good to go. We also purchased a Original Sun Shade from them. They were more than happy to install it for me! Now (9 months later) We had an issue with our sun shade and they were super easy to work with! Called and they got me in the same day and took care of me :) Definitely will be recommending to all of our friends!!! read more

After taking my vehicle to get tinted, i go to pick it up & i find a hard chip down to the metal on the driver door panel near the handle. (Not to mention the multiple scuff marks by the other door handles that i was able to buff out) I call & they tell me to bring it in, which i did, then after 'consulting with the boss' over the weekend, they tell me it was not their problem & that it must have been hit by another car door or a rock when i was driving? This is a brand new car 4 weeks new mind you. I would take pictures of your vehicle before you take it & inspect it after. But they won't do anything about it anyways, probably someone else's fault. read more

GET A WRITTEN ESTIMATE FIRST THING! I suggest you get a written estimate before initiating any work. They offer special pricing at certain times and for return customers. I was quoted lower than that which was charged.....had neither had the salesman written it down, nor had I asked for the written estimate. Out memories varied by $100 (and I have a VERY good memory). I had to pay what they asked for as a consequence. They do very good work and I have had three cars done by them over the years. Next time, however, I will have to protect myself (and I advise others) to get a written rather than just a verbal estimate at the time the estimate is provided. Their business practice does NOT, as a routine, provide the estimate in writing as agreed upon verbally at the time of estimate. You will have to request it. read more
