Shadow and Light is such a fun place in a great spot! Super cute decor inside, very clean and neat. Friendly bartenders and servers were very nice to us- and the food was delicious. I was visiting Lake Buchanan with my brother and his family who have a place out here. He told us about a new place to eat (literally across the street), that had great food and a good vibe. Shadow & Light did not disappoint. We came in for Father's Day brunch with a party of 8 and chose couch seating over a couple high top tables. The ambiance was cool and loungy with velvet chairs and sparkly tables. Over the bar was clouds concealing a multi-colored thunderstorm of lights. Drinks included Me-Mosas and their Bloody Mary with a candied bacon garnish. Brunch items included French toast with strawberry syrup, a meat lovers quiche, and Papas con huevos. All were delicious. The service was excellent. Aliya and Antonio were both kind and accommodating. We really enjoyed our visit and can't wait to return! read more

We had the mushroom swiss burger, the mack and cheese sticks, the burger was cooked to perfection with the best mushrooms. The sauce for the mack and cheese sticks was amazing. This place is so awesome! Love the owners and staff, always so pleasant. The frose's are very good, as a well as then specialty drinks. We had brunch and I enjoyed my avocado toast and my Husband had steak and eggs which looked fantastic. The ambiance is perfect-dark and festive for a bar. I was a little skeptical when my gal pal drove me here for a casual date but once I got inside, I could see the magic. The ambience is fantastic and the vibe is very laid back. The food and drinks are great and the owners and staff are a breath of fresh air: honestly nice and helpful. I love the cloud motif behind the bar and the all-black bathroom, too. We've been there twice, and will definitely be going back as part of our plan to enjoy life. It's our new, off-the-beaten path, hole in the wall! read more

This place is awesome. don't be fooled by the Exterior once you enter this place has the vibe all bars should strive for. Not kidding when I say I've had the best dessert of my life here it was a walnut brownie. they also of course had really delicious drinks. The bartenders were super friendly. First off, they have craft drinks, I had the hill country whiskey and asked for a bit of cinnamon. Absolutely delicious. Buddy had an old fashioned, and it was perfect if you like a sweater old fashioned. Fried shrimp was on point. Breading is amazing. If anyone's coming through, don't judge the outside. Inside is fun and classy. Staff are nice and they have a bar dog that's in and out. This place is 10/10 for me. And I'm not usually the one to rate a place nicely. read more
