Let's skip the fact that the place is a bit…read morerundown and could use (a lot of) renovation, but as the price is acceptable I don't mind the mid 70's - almost nostalgic - ambiance. They have functioning racquetball courts - which is one of my main reasons for coming. The SRFC also has some very fine instructors that will do their very best for you. The one thing that gets me is SRFC's lack of organization and professionalism. Recently I've gone to do some classes that are on their schedule, only to find that there is no instructor or trainer to give them. I then noticed that they announce their schedules in three places: online, in flyers, and in weekly sheets. The problem is that these three sources do not agree. IN SHORT: I have recently gone 5 times or so, changed into my outfit etc, only to find that I just had wasted another 14 miles on my car and another hour of my time. I have brought this to management's attention, and I even asked the desk people specifically the day before if the schedule was correct. But all this was to no avail as nobody seems to know what exactly is going on and when ... So, before becoming an SRFC member, ask yourself why you'd would want to put up with such nonsense. As for bowling, the lanes were nice and oiled, but not too much. Also, I was in the market for a spare ball, and Brian in the Pro Shop was very professional. He helped me find the right ball/weight I was looking for, and not only that, had it ready for use inside of 20 minutes!!!! Unfortunately, King Pin Lanes are far from my house, but I will get over here as much as I can.

There are rules that have to be followed for the safety of all. This is a place for grown folks that just want to get together and chill without a couch. There is no booze or a kitchen but they did have snacks and drinks for sale...and they allow food order/delivery. When we arrived were greeted immediately and all expectations were conveyed upon entry. We signed a waiver and received instructions and tips on how to throw and play the games. We were given opportunity to ask questions and were able to call for referee assistance to address the issues of great competition. It was all fun and laughter as the professionals threw their axes in the lane next to us. Did you know there is an ax throwing league? We'll, there is but they didn't need a handicap like in bowling so I didn't qualify. Anyway, we came out for my sons 30th birthday and I promise, I let him win in honor of his special day. There were four of us in our group and I scored a consistent zero so the others wouldn't feel intimidated. We played several games that included the ax of different sizes and ninja stars...or whatever they are called. The stars, of course, was my favorite because I was able to get them to stick to the board more often. If you've never thrown an ax before, you should this. It's competitive for sure and a good workout for the arms, back and core...and it's a lot of fun, even when you consistently score low numbers. I had a blast and we'll be coming back sure. Absolutely fantastic! We were early for our session...no problem got us set up. Went over the…read morerules. The lady (sorry cannot remember her name) demo-ed how to throw the axe. She watched each of us and offered suggestions to improve our throw and aim. It was not long before all of us were hitting the target regularly. We hadn't thrown before. Facility was clean. Throwing area was big enough you didn't have to worry about the person throwing at the next target.

There were no signs regarding age, so I saw no reason to refuse. There was another little boy about three back there, too. Both of them got up in the structure, couldn't see their mom and grandma and wanted to come out. The complexity of the structure made it confusing to find their way out and they both started screaming for us and panicked. The man at the front desk just kept on reading his book or phone and ignored the chaos. I am way too old to try to climb up into the thing so I was lucky that the young mother retrieved her son then went after my little guy. Much better supervision is needed there. I won't be back.

The building really is massive which we were not expecting…read more Our 20 month old still isn't walking unassisted and our house is so small that she can get anywhere while walking along and holding onto a table, chair, or couch. Ergadoozy has tons of open area to encourage her to take some independent steps! The little shopping carts she loves to hold onto and walk so while it's not totally independent, we'll take it, lol. We got the 6 month pass and it's already paid for itself with how often we've gone. I haven't had any other issues with kids or parents and everyone has been so polite, even helping my daughter stand back up when their kids might bump into her while playing. It's so nice to have a space for kids to be kids! It can be loud and busy, so if you aren't a fan of that maybe go later in the evening on weekdays when it's slower. I love that kids can run around yelling and be kids in a safe environment. It's also great for her to try new toys so we're building a nice Christmas list every time we go, lol. There's a gift shop inside too so we try to steer her away from that.

I stopped in for an early dinner to only find this place absolutely packed (there was an event at the golf course that day). I had the prime rib special, and washed it down with a Hands of Fate cream ale. The food was excellent, but our waitress clearly didn't mind making numerous trips back and forth from our table due to her inability to actually listen to us (walking away from us mid request): She didn't know what beers were on tap (and couldn't provide a beer menu. "Sir I don't know who it's by, but it is a cream ale if that helps" ). Well at that price, I'd like to know before I buy. So food is decent, but service didn't match the quality of food served. I truly believe if their servers professionalism matched their menu, we would be seeing this be a 4 star review easily. Will update upon next trip.

Our lane had some difficulties and we had to be switched to another lane but the owner was on top of it and was super friendly. If you come in one entrance you see the bar and video games. The other side entrance, which I saw families use, comes into the bowling side. The place is kept up quite nicely. It does have the capability for food service although we didnt try it on this visit. You also have the choice of music in a digital juke box. If you have the chance come on down and spend some quality family time here.
