Interesting pin placement on 12! And watch out for that 47 degreed slope on the 8th green. And hole 7 you ask? They claim its 189 yards, but it plays like 191, trust me. Never broken under 100 here but that doesn't stop me from trying. And I'm a real golfer. Ya know the one that makes sure the logo on my ball is lined up perfectly for a putt and takes three trips back and forth from behind my ball to behind my pin. Can't wait to come back! 5 stars

This is the least prioratized course the City of Bloomington owns and it shows in all aspects. When you play Vista the staff is older and knowledgeable, at Highland they put anyone they can behind the counter. I have played here for years and watched it go down hill for a long time.

Ended up getting a lesson today from Aaron Theobald at the Golf Learning Center…read more Let me just say that before this lesson, I could hit maybe two balls in the air out of an entire bucket. I cracked my driver as well. After the 30 minute lesson, I could drive 90% of the balls about 200 yards. Side note: after we left the Golf Learning Center, we went to the Den to practice more. I hit 250 yards out there. I can't wait to see what I can do when I really get the form down. WHAT?!?!?!? Aaron is miracle worker. For real. I highly recommend him for anyone starting out or anyone who is struggling with golf. It is really exciting to go from crazy frustrated to confident and excited in 30 minutes. My parents still live there, and have lived there for nearly 30 years now...and they still play the course at least twice a weekend and never tire of it.

Swimming pool is unusually large - a great place for swim meets, and there are a ton of trees everywhere. Being so far removed from the heart of BN, this is my favorite CC in the area. You really feel like you're getting away from the hustle of everyday life (unlike BCC or LCC). Waiting list, high membership dues, but good people and a good place for all ages (young kids or just elderly couples).
