If you like lies, delays, excuses, poor workmanship and total frustration, these are the guys for you. If not, run the other way as fast as you can. It is absolute amateur hour with this company. We signed a contract for custom cabinets and granite installation on January 22, 2015. We ordered and paid $1,000 extra for an integral bi-level granite sink that we saw in their Altamonte Springs showroom. We are still waiting for the entire job to be completed. During the cabinet process the face of our island was cut incorrectly and has yet to be fixed. The cabinet folks were sweet but couldn't keep an appointment to save their lives. If you like people showing up late then working till 10 pm in your home, these are your guys. After cabinets, the granite was supposed to be installed. Two installation appointments were missed with no return phone calls, no explanation, just eventually so sorry. To make up for the missed appointments and non-returned phone calls, Walter promised to provide the 3 window sills we'd ordered for free. Finally they showed up and the entire counter was cut incorrectly. The crew left with it and said it would have to be completely fabricated again. Another week went by, another missed appointment then they showed up and installed it. It fit, it looked great, but the sink wouldn't drain. There was constant standing water because the fabricators failed to do the work correctly and actually make a sink a sink. In addition they cut the hole for the soap dispenser on the wrong side of the sink. They did not fix the flaw in the island or provide the window sills or paint the raw wood under the island's counter top. And they damaged the dishwasher drain during the installation. They had the temerity to email me the next morning to ask for the final payment. I sent them the punch list, and began waiting once again. That was on March 18. Finally on March 26th, Walter came out, agreed to fix every item on the punch list INCLUDING fabricating a 3rd counter top and sink! He said it would be about 2 weeks. We followed up with un-returned phone calls and emails and finally on April 16th hired an attorney who sent him demand letter. Walter finally called and told us that we only had minor problems, that at least I had a sink (standing unsanitary water apparently doesn't matter), that he was behind on his BIG job in Mall of Millenia, that his guy had hurt himself, and basically wanted to know why WE were being so unreasonable. Once again he promised to come out and take care of everything. Finally after two more calls and one more letter from our attorney his crew showed up on the appointed day in late May 3 hours late and 2 people short to do the work. They couldn't and didn't. Two days later they finally showed up with enough people and installed the new sink and counter top. And it finally drained correctly. They didn't fix the island. They didn't provide the window sills. They didn't paint the raw wood. They did however break a light switch and electrical receptacle and scratch our hardwood floors. And, they didn't fix the dishwasher. Walter promised to "take care of" all of these problems numerous times. After emailing him once again, we received a reply on June 6 that started with and I am directly quoting "I ll not going respond every item of the email because I have other important things to do" It ended with, and again I am quoting, "I will call you tomorrow morning you tell me which way you wanna go." We are still waiting on that phone call.

I waited a long time to leave a review. But after looking at the countertops for 10 months, I just…read morecan't say they did a good job for all the $$$ spent. I had the counters in my kitchen and guest bath replaced with quartz countertops. The first time they arrived to remove and install the new tops they took out the counters and went they brought the new ones in the edges were the wrong cut. They had a straight edge and small bevel was listed on the quote. So, they had to leave and we had no countertops until they were recut. Not a great start but if the installed counters were perfect, I would not have cared. When they installed the counters the bath and half of the kitchen did not need any seams and they look perfect. The problem is they "had" to put in 2 seams to the largest run of counter. Advised this was due to the size of the elevator in the building. Never offered to hire a lift either. What we ended up with is 2 seams that are clearly visible on the most used sections of the counter that I see all the time. The seams are not perfectly level and the sealant they used is slightly darker that the very light color of the counters.

We hired Ben Trento to tile our living room, kitchen, laundry room and a small bathroom. Ben…read moreTrento had absolutely NOTHING to do with the physical work. He sent subcontractors, Superficially, the tile in the living room was straight, but there is white mortar peeking up through the brown grout in many places. We pointed that out to him while his people were preparing to grout and his honest estimation is that "They're old men with bad habits, and it is just as good a job as you can ask of any tile company." They splashed grout up every wall in the living room and kitchen and onto all my newly installed kitchen cabinets. We cleaned the cabinets just fine, but the grout had to be cleaned off the walls and repainted. Moving on to the bathroom. The shower floor has blue grout, yes, you guessed it, white mortar is peeking up through the grout everywhere, We had to clean the blue grout off of the shower floor tiles, and there is white mortar as high as the top of the tile all over the shower floor. Now we must find a different tile installer to rip out the shower floor Ben Trento's subcontractors installed and redo our shower. Additionally they set the drain crooked, not a big deal, except it is obviously crooked, and Mr, Trento tried to convince us that we don't know how to measure and it isn't really crooked. Stating maybe it is off by less than 1/16th inch. I would recommend that if Ben Trento is going to do the job, sure hire him to do your job, he is knowledgeable. If he sends over subcontractors, then don't let them into your home unless you want to redo the job through another contractor. So now that we have discussed the Service, and the Quality, Let's look at value. Ben Trento is not a cheaper than others option. His pricing is at the higher end of the scale. He also overestimates a bit, since I returned nine boxes living room tile 10 bags of mortar three boded of bathroom wall tiles. The only reason I mention this is that you are paying for the ESTIMATE. When the contractor estimates additional square footage, you are paying a bonus to that contractor for work and materials that are never delivered.
