I am not one to write negative feedback but in this case I feel it is important…read more I had asked Outerbanks Productions to take photos of my family (we had all come together for a brief family vacation). They showed up on time and took the photographs as promised back on July 24th 2011. We were promised the photos within 3-6 weeks. Come early September we inquire as to the status. They said that since they had to evacuate due to hurricane they couldn't mail them out. That was early Sept. Since then and despite repeated phone calls we've heard nothing nor received any photographs. The customer service has been appalling. You'd expect some sort of communication - there was nothing. You'd expect some sort of apology - again nothing. I don't have much recourse since I paid by check. But I advise anyone doing business with these guys be very weary paying by anything other than credit card. At least you could dispute the charges there. I'm out a few hundred dollars and still no photographs. Thankfully we had some friends taking photographs of us that evening. So we do have some photographs of our brief time together Tis ashame though that Outerbanks Productions couldn't deliver. You'd think a company that prides itself on delivering first rate customer service would have been more upfront and conciliatory. I would strongly recommend you NOT use this company based off my experience or with a BIG grain of salt. You really don't want to entrust your precious photographs and memories to a company that will not deliver/communicate or provide any sort of feedback.

Terry and Sarah shot both our engagement and wedding and we had a wonderful experience for both!…read more It was raining off and on the day of the engagement photos and they were very flexible with us, but luckily it ended up clearing up and we were able to do the shoot. They made us feel very comfortable right away and took a variety of pictures. We ended up going out for a drink after and had so much fun just chatting away with them! On our wedding day, Sarah came to where I was getting ready and Terry went to shoot the groom and his party. Right away I was excited to see her and she took lots of great pictures of all of the details, such as my bouquet, hair, jewelry, shoes, etc. The pictures of the ceremony are beautiful and they got every angle, even capturing the rainbow we had that day! Sadly, it started pouring about 10 minutes after the ceremony, so we had to finish the pictures inside. Even though they all are amazing, we were sad that we did not get as many outdoor/beach pictures as we wanted (obviously not their fault). But, they were able to get SO many great pictures of the speeches, table settings, food, dancing and lots of action shots. They also offered to let us put our wedding attire back on the next day or pick another weekend to do that and get our beach pictures. Even though it was so nice of them to offer this, we felt like we would always know that wasn't our actual wedding day and opted to get our beach pictures during our honeymoon in Hawaii (see my profile for a review of an another amazing photographer!). We would definitely recommend Terry & Sarah to anyone!
