Lele lead me through my first yoga swing class. A private class so I could see if this might be something that would work for me. She was very respectful when I said something wasn't working for me and she steered me in another direction. I'm in my 60's and absolutely loved the inversion on the swing! It was my favorite thing! My shoulders, hips and spine felt so good. I will do this a again. Oh, and Lele is very prompt in responding to communications. read more

Meet the Business Owner: Lele N.

I began my persona yoga journey over twenty years ago, when I was still a long distance runner and cyclist, and I fell in love with it. Asana (postures), kept me strong and flexible through my trainings, while Dhyana (meditation) helped me find inner peace and mental balance. I chose to train in India to gain deep insight into the world of yoga, without the wester flare that we have all come to know. I feel really fortunate for my experience and the teachings of my wonderful masters. Since I was a child, I have always loved climbing and swinging, and aerial yoga provides opportunity for child like playfulness, while bringing my personal practice to new depths, through the soft and yet, challenging uses of a yoga trapeze/swing. I studied energy healing/reiki under the teachings of Karen Hedley, who has taught me the many wonderful ways in which we can tap into the beautiful energy all around us, to bring wellbeing to all who needed.

Shanti Wellness is THE BEST KEPT yoga secret in Melbourne! I've been dealing with degenerative disc disease since 2005. I had gotten to a point where I was taking more sick days than work days. A friend recommended doing more yoga, so I tried Shanti Wellness. After six months of REGULAR WEEKLY practice with Lele, I felt like a NEW man! I have more energy now, and the daily aches and pains are GONE! I've been doing yoga off and on for over twenty years and NEVER studied under a teacher who was more instructive and attentive than Lele. Being a newer studio, the classes aren't as big as some of the older, more established studios, allowing you to receive more individual attention than you might get elsewhere. Whether you prefer hatha, kundalini, vinyasas, or aerial yoga, the variety of classes allow for your continued growth, wellness, and peace. During this current pandemic, I decided that I would take this sudden extra time on my hands to start doing some yoga. Apart from watching a few yoga videos on YouTube, I think it's safe to say that I am a novice. With it still being a fairly new business and not having many reviews, I wasn't sure what I'd be walking in to. However, I am glad to say that it has been a great experience. The instructor is patient and encouraging, as well as making sure to push me towards the goals I have in the class. She also never makes me feel bad for for not being at a higher level, and adjust the poses so I am able to do them. I'm on my 4th class and will definitely be attending more. Highly recommend for anyone interested in starting yoga, as well as more experienced people wanting to push themselves further in their journey read more

My wife and I fly to the east coast every chance we get, to visit friends and family. This is our first trip back since last year, and we made sure to stop by and take a class with our favorite yoga teacher, Lele. We are extremely excited about her new studio, and we know it is going to be huge, because she is knowledgeable, extremely accommodating, and a beautiful person. The studio he gorgeous and large, the artwork is a great touch. She has created a beautiful atmosphere, where everyone can feel comfortable and relaxed. We only wish we lived closer.
