A wide range of ages (not everyone was youth) and the instructors (6 of them) were very nice and showed me how to stand, move and attack with the katana. Highly recommend if you'd like to learn Kendo. They also have Judo and Fencing at this location through the City of Industry Sheriff's Station Youth Activities League.

We continue to stay after Grand Master Tak took over the business. My older son struggles with ADHD and Grand Master Tak is always so patient with him. She constantly finds different ways to engage with him to keep him focused. She's super supportive and is very encouraging so both my boys build confidence. She always tells me " she is their Tae Kwon Do Mom" this shows me her dedication she has towards my boys all her students. My little one has always been more of the introvert and ever since attending Tae Kwon Do here, he's so much more outgoing now. He also used to get discouraged easily and would become overwhelmed with emotions and tends to give up. Since attending class here, his perseverance amazes me. He doesn't cry and give up anymore and he pushes through even when he feels things get tough. We even went to other TKD places to see which one we liked and out of all of them, Prime was the best. It is in an awesome location (next to UPS, 168 Market, Daiso, Miniso, and restaurants!). The mats are clean and made with good quality unlike the other TKD places we went to. Very new and clean. I enjoy watching the girls practice and it makes me smile every time because after the trial session, their confidence really shined and they have so much fun every lesson. This place also has great hours that work well with my kids school schedule. I like that it's not too late where it's cutting close to dinner time. Definitely worth every penny and I'm excited to see the girls progress. Master Rhee is patient, and firm and is easy to understand. I like his teachings and I like how he really gets to know all his students individually.

They all said that Steve Wray is one of the best. He is very patient with the kids. His training focuses on hands-on training. I have spoken to Steve on many occasion on his lessons. He is not your typical Martial Arts trainer that goes by a curriculum that was taught to them. He has put together the lessons from his years of training and uses the most effective way that makes the technique work. Lessons learned from White belt all the way to Black Belt. His style is a hybrid style, pulling from Shotokan, Taekwondo, American Kenpo, plus many techniques he has developed himself. His lessons focuses on Sparring techniques and drills. He wants all his students to be able to defend themselves in any situation. He mixes up the lessons with both kicks and hands. He helps the kids build self confidence and control. Before each training class he greets each kid. At the end of the training day, he provides words of wisdom to his students.
