He told me they working with the spa above them & go up there to get a garment for an additional $100. I have my procedure with him on 2-18-22, i will update after my procedure. I felt consultation was kind of ruhsed(he did admit he was running behind due to traffic). He hadn't actually looked at any of my pictures from the virtual consultation that was sent because it wasnt until after i paid my non refundable deposit and at the in person consultation( which was 2 weeks later) that he told me i would need a 3rd round to remove the back rolls, had my pictures been evaluated through the virtual i think that could have been communicated with me beforehand. The receptionist or coordinators are the ones who does the virtual consultations and they actually told me the back rolls would be included in the liposuction. I came in to see Dr. Bahanoo Sharma for Botox for bags under my eyes and he told me I had to get my cheeks done too or it wouldn't look right... so I paid $1600 and no changes were made, he then tells me I have allergies so I need to take allergy pills. I've done that for four months still no changes, no improvement whatsoever! now he wants to sell me blephaplasty for another $2650 and won't take off the $1600, I already paid for a procedural done by him with absolutely no changes. Be very leery of this place. I had been for Botox, which was just fine. I was planning to get a breast reduction and tummy tuck but when my husband I and I had questions, the doctor's sister, Bhati (sp?), was rude and acted like asking questions was ridiculous. I am about to have major surgery; I have some questions. She wanted me to have four different surgeries, over months. It was so odd that I asked more questions. I finally decided that I was not comfortable with their refusal to provide a contract and answer questions. When I kindly explained that I had decided to look elsewhere, well, that is where the craziness began. Suddenly both my phone and my husband's phone started blowing up with phone calls from Bhati. I then started receiving mean texts about how no other doctor would accept me and other mean things. I finally blocked her, found a WONDERFUL other doctor, one who was mortified when I told her my story. I cried talking with her on our first meeting because of how I was treated at Shape. Fast forward 8 months later and I had my ONE surgery, not four, and had a successful breast reduction, tummy tuck and lipo with ANOTHER doctor. I should also add that I never was consulted by the doctor at Shape, only his sister. I was not going to write a review. Look at my other reviews and you will see I only take the time to really write reviews when I am very happy, and I feel like people deserve it. This doctor performs plastic surgery. l called/ scheduled a consult on 11/19/21. I paid a $2,000 deposit 12/16/21 for surgery dates 1/26/22/ & 2/4/22 in Hazel Crest, IL a suburb of Chicago. After scheduling, I need additional information as well as my receipts that I paid. I had been calling and emailing their office for more than 2 weeks with no response, which threw up a multiple red flags. I have receipts in the form of calls logs and emails. I began to research to see if their office was closed. I was also in Facebook groups that indicated other having an issue getting in contact with them. I completed my research before and found the license to be under review, but there was no other detail and didn't seem a cause for concern as it could have been numerous things. After competing more research, I found his license was now fully suspended for a min of 18 months in both Oregon and Illinois for negligence, someone die from one of his surgeries and there were questionable practices in others. After finding this out, I was concerned. So, I began amping up my attempts to contact. Still no answer until I threatened to report them in an email on 1/13/22. Someone (who refused to identify herself) from the office called me and tried to to tell me that I did not contact them, I produced some, but not all receipts to show her that I had absolutely no reason to make this up. She then said she could see if I get 1/2 of my deposit. Their cancelation policy is if you cancel it is half deposit return. I insisted on all due to the doctor having a suspended license, she said it wasn't their policy. I informed her that I am not canceling for a frivolous reason and that when I paid, I wanted a capable doctor with an active license. I also told her that they processed two payment and one was recurring, she tried to say that I didn't know what I was talking about, so I sent her a screenshot. She said she would need speak to someone, she didn't know why that happened. Lastly, before hanging up, she said that he is still practicing in Indiana and that I was never told that the surgery was to be in Hazel Crest. I told her that wasn't true and again provided her with the information. I set up my accommodations in Tinsley to be close to the surgery center. I would have never even known to look for accommodations had they not told me this and it is in writing. My guess is they tried to lie, because his license is suspended and they were being shady by him being licensed in the neighboring state to continue surgeries. The next day, 1/14/22, I got a call from Sandra, who identified herself as the office manager. She told me that if I had filed a dispute with my bank that I could not get my money back, because they did not want to issue the refund twice. That is fair, but we both knew that is not how that worked. The bank just doesn't come and get money. They need to investigate. I told her that I would 3 way the bank to ensure them that it didn't work that way. They refused. The bank informed me NOT to cancel the dispute until I received my money. People make mistakes, but it is how you fix and respond to them and their office is shady, sneaky and unprofessional. All I wanted was my money back, so I could go about my business, but they need to be exposed. I am sure some people are satisfied. however, they are scamming people and it is dangerous. I have reported them to several compliance entities and will be taking legal action. BEWARE!!!! read more

Came here for botox and had a wonderful experience. The doctor did a beautiful job and was very personable. I previously was going to a medical spa for my injections (huge mistake -the botox didn't take half the time) and am so happy I discovered Shape. The office is simple and hidden but so far I'm really pleased with my results. Will be returning for radiesse injections soon! Also the nurse, Amy, is absolutely wonderful and a great asset to the business. She spent a lot of time with me to review the botox procedure as well as answer questions I had for other things I may look to get done in the future. Definitely recommend at this point in time. I had a tummy tuck and liposuction and the doctor did a very bad job. My scar is very crooked and my stomach was left uneven. Now I can not wear a bikini high-rise only. He remove my belly button and made a new one which is sloppy. The bra row was left uneven and never corrected. This is a family ran business. Dr Sharma has been my ps for about 4 years (?) and I have never been treated with anything other than respect and professional courtesy. His work is top notch (and I've had horrible experience with other so called plastic surgeons...) I've had numerous procedures and the results are always on point! His entire staff is kind and comfortable to be around! If you want an honest consultation, Bahrti (initial consultant) is exactly the person you want to see! She is a listener, NOT a pusher. And speaks the truth! So don't expect to get that facelift (or whatever) if you don't need it! This is not the place to go if you want a surgeon to do whatever it is JUST because you want it done! They will tell you that you don't need it if you don't and offer alternative solutions. So if your looking for a doc who just wants your money at any cost to your well being, look somewhere else! Aftercare is attentive and caring. Dr. Sharma is always kind and in a "good mood" so you're never weary or nervous. He answers ever concern you may have and he truly enjoys his work and wants you to be the best you! First off he has his paper pushing sister Barti who works at the front desk doing consultations. She's not a physician so why is she consulting with patients. They don't even provide you with an exam room. They take you in a office with a desk and chair and have you undress. They convince you that your procedure needs to be done in 2 sessions for "the best results" then when it's time for the 2nd part of your procedure they recant on the price and demand more money. If you question anything that they are telling your out of concern this arrogant Dr will tell you very rudely you can go somewhere else. Nothing is given to you In writing, its all word of mouth and their word is not bond and NOT TO BE TRUSTED!!! Visits with this Dr are rushed and he leaves you to feel like you're aggravating or annoying him if you have any questions. PLEASE BEWARE they are not to be trusted!! All they want is your money and when they get it the treatment there after is horrible!!!! Dr. Sharma is the best and his staff has been amazing during the beginning of my new reconstruction journey. So about three weeks ago now he did my first stage of lipo on my lower back and the results has been amazing for me to be a plus sized women. I started this journey very scared due to watching it a million times on You Tube but Dr Sharma and his coordinator Bharti has made my first stage easy breezy. Everybody had me so scared to get the massage after surgery due to being painful and the massage therapist Dee made it relaxing and very comfortable. All other doctors said it was impossible and I won't see no difference Dr. Sharma said yes and I'm 45 yrs old and obese my results thus far are amazing and I have only did 1 stage of lipo and I can't wait to complete all 4 stages and finally complete the reconstruction which was started 10 yrs ago and never completed. Seems like every person has the same problem. After reading all the great Groupon reviews for this place, I spent $525 on a two Groupons for their services. It took me over a week to get someone on the phone, I left several messages and emails, no one ever called me back. I finally got lucky and someone eventually answered the phone, not lucky enough because was then told they are booked solid until May. I explained to the lady that I was hoping to get in before the end of April because I am going on a trip and really wanted to get the service done for the trip and that was the whole purpose of me buying the Groupon. She did not seem to care and pretty much tried to dismiss me. I asked for a refund and she told me I must go through Groupon. Well now it's been way over a week since my purchase so Groupon will not refund me and will only give me credit. I get that sometimes places book up, but if you know that you cannot get people in, you should specify the booking timeframe on the Groupon. If they answered there phone or returned my calls in a timely manner I could of easily cancelled for a full refund off within 3 day time frame. DO NOT GET THEIR GROUPONS. read more

Went for Groupon Botox. Was told I didn't have to purchase the Groupon and they'd honor the Groupon price. They did, but I'm sure it's to bypass Groupons fee and the risk of someone disputing the charge with Groupon after they get shotty work. I purchased 30 units. The corridors look like a dungeon, the office is a little nicer but the operatory was not. There was a lady in the waiting room crying, and they charge $1 for chips and coffee. So once I get called back, I had to go back out into the dungeonous corridor into a room. He comes in and asks where I wanted it, I told him forehead, and bunny lines. He tried telling me he usually puts 20 units in each area, I know from experience that 20 units do not go in bunny lines, it's more like 2-4... BIG DIFFERENCE. He clearly didn't even know what bunny lines were because he injected it right between my eyes. Every injection hurt so bad, it felt like he was using an IV sized needle. I had bruises for a week and it still hurts between my nose and it's been a month. I can still move my forehead so I'm pretty sure it was heavily diluted (with water) Botox. I've had Botox many times and I know this was not a normal experience. So then he tells me to go back to the waiting room and settle up my bill, at that point, I could have just left the building seeing that I had to go back out into the corridor to go back to the front desk. But I didn't, I paid, and I wasted my money. read more

I wouldn't even give this one star, but that was not an option. This place is the most unprofessional that I have ever seen. I waited about 30 min even though no one else was there. I went in for some mole removal, and what I got was large scars, and butchered. It should have been a simple procedure. The moles were not large, and I should have ran when I saw a scalpel and suture kit. I had smaller moles removed at another place, and there was no scar what so ever or sutures. The sutures did not even hold, and it wasn't in a used area of the body. For a mole the size of a pinhead, I had 3 stitches just to give you an example. I had a large laceration on my knee before with 3 stitches that held perfect with high traffic (bending). I really should sue for malpractice. read more
