Okay, the lady that assisted me is named Noreen Khan. For one she was rude once I entered she nodded at me like "what do you want?" Bc she was having a conversation with a coworker. I told her I need my eyebrows done and she gestures to the chair as she continues her conversation. Ash is my absolute favorite. I've been coming here for years, and have always had issues with watery eyes when I get my brows threaded. She tinted my eyebrows black and my hair is dirty blond. She also would not leave me alone about buying a deal package. And to make matters worse my eyebrows were smeared when I left. This lady has not always worked there, however, you should expect the same level of skills from all the workers. Not only was this lady going to quick, but it was the most painful threading ive gotten, the eyebrows were uneven, they were swollen at the top and bottom, and I was bleeding. A threader in the woodlands, finally! I cannot wax and have enjoyed the convenience of finding a threader in SFL, but though the woodlands was lacking until i stumbled upon Shapes. At first i thought it was just waxing- but i saw some a woman getting her eyebrows threaded through the window and immediately went in for a look at the menu. Better prices than my SFL threader. They did a great job and my brows are back to their old self- shaped and clean. I feel like a new woman and am so grateful to have these skilled ladies who know their craft at Shapes- definitely cannot live without my eyebrow threading! My friend and I were meeting up at the mall and she mentioned that she needed to stop by this place. Thinking about how I've been wanting to try to get my eyebrows shaped I told her I would join her. Afterwards I decided to look up the yelp reviews and became a little paranoid after reading all of these bad reviews. I almost called my friend to back out, but I knew that would be impolite of me. I went in and there were about three customers already there. One was waiting and two were getting their eyebrows done. I waited maybe two minutes after I sat down before the lady asked me to take a seat in the chair. She then went to check out the customer before me and took a really long time. The other lady had done two people (including the one who was there before us) and had my friend sitting in the chair removing eyebrow hair. I got a little impatient, but it's fine. When the lady was finally finished she came over and I quickly told her that this was my first time and that I wanted her to remove the strays only and she did just that. She went really fast because it was my first time. Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with how they turned out. Only reason why I deducted a star was because of the wait. read more

This is the second time that I did my brow threading over here. I'm pleased with how my brow is shaped. They offered to draw my brow a little to even up the tone. Although the lady tried explaining the products hat she was using on me, she wasn't pushy about getting me to buy them. A younger lady helped me today. The older indian lady was a bit fiercer when she threaded for me the last time. This younger one is very friendly and nice. Few months later.... Is it normal to shut the gate 20mim before the closing time? When they saw me, they saw sorry and please come back again. I don't have time. The last time I came was 6weeks ago. I was told to use the hand sanitizer before the threading starts. But why I didn't understand. It should be them? And best part was I smelt the fried chicken on the lady's hands. Clean facilities, friendly yet professional staff, fast and decent threading, and most important-- GOOD LIGHTING. Haven't tried out the waxing service. I will say, even if there's a big line in front of you, the traffic moves along pretty quickly so you're never waiting more than 5-7min. I recommend looking at the memberships if you go more than once a month because their rates are at least 1.5Xs more expensive than other salons. (It's the mall, what do you expect?) I was going to the girl, Moon, but she's now left for Maternity Leave, so I haven't decided if I want to try out any of the other ladies. WARNING: my mother went to one of the others, and she made my mother's eyebrows uneven and way too thin. You have to tell them explicitly what you want, otherwise they'll make arches where you don't have them naturally, etc. read more
