I had a very disappointing experience with this business. I scheduled an appointment through their…read morewebsite, only to have it canceled via text message just a few hours beforehand, with no explanation provided. When I called to understand what happened, I was given inconsistent and unconvincing explanations. First, I was told the system flagged me as a bot, which does not align with how the appointment was booked. Then I was told I may not have confirmed the appointment--also incorrect. The lack of transparency was frustrating, but even more concerning was the complete absence of accountability. Customer service was particularly poor. The representative I spoke with (possibly named Theresa) was dismissive, unhelpful, and showed little interest in resolving the issue or acknowledging the inconvenience caused. While the quality of services may be strong, the administrative side of the business is clearly disorganized and undermines the overall experience. Reliability and basic communication should not be this difficult.

Dr Farole's availability worked much better in this instance. My top right tooth started to pop out of its gum on the front end, and I still had 3 total remaining including the one popping out, so my dentist recommended I have all remaining evaluated. My consult copay was $50. The office was very well organized in my opinion. You can opt-in for text message or email updates, appointment notifications can be managed via text, and I was able to get my new patient paperwork in prior to my first appointment for smooth sailing. Dr. Farole and all the staff were very friendly and had a great bedside manner and demeanor in their approach. Dr. Farole had explained to me both pros and cons of removing just the 1 giving me the problem, or removing all at the same time. We ultimately decided to get rid of all of them and go under general anesthesia. This was my first general anesthesia experience of my life, and as a relatively anxious person - I'm here to tell the rest of you that there is absolutely nothing to be scared of. I know there are a couple of terrifying reviews on here of people waking up in pain screaming and the staff laughing... I have to say that I truly wonder if the people that wrote those reviews were still under the influence of the drugs and remember incorrectly.. but either way I'm here to tell you that absolutely was NOT my experience. I don't even remember falling asleep. It was easy to drift off to sleep, easy to wake up - and it was not scary. The staff did make jokes here and there, but nothing unprofessional - I really think they're just trying to put you at ease and show you there's nothing to worry about ! One thing I loved is that they allow you to choose the music you want before your procedure. I put my favorite music on, I remember chatting to them about work, and the next thing I know I was waking up with the gauze in my mouth and them instructing me of my next steps. I scheduled my follow up about 1 week out from the procedure (no copay for that) and Dr. Farole will check on your healing progress, check for infection, etc. Make sure to follow the instructions they provide you for recovery. Based on my experience, I would recommend Dr. Farole and his team for your wisdom teeth extraction! I can't speak to anything else, but I'd trust them with my care.

Woke up during surgery and was screaming in pain…read more Called in for more pain killers a few days after and the lady who answered the phone didn't recognize who I was, and I told her I was the one who woke up while under anesthesia, she started to laugh. During the follow up visit I was told as soon as the doctor walked in the room that I was a "crazy woman." While looking at my teeth I was told I was "acting like a child" when I flinched and was poking me with a qtip, it was not gentle. He had no empathy and was very unprofessional, no customer should be treated this way. Most of the staff was nice and I feel bad they have to work for him.

At my follow up, I was accused of "its all in your head" by Gina and Dr. Wulc. I came in with mild malar festoons and ended up needing a facial fat grafting after just 1 Morpheus8 session. My experience has been a NIGHTMARE and the total opposite of everything I was led to believe I would look like for $1400. Stay away from these people! They only care about money and not about meeting YOUR needs!!!

I then received a very rude email stating that my eyes were shaped "extremely different" (duh, I know that, that's why I'm seeking help), and that the surgery wouldn't be helpful. No suggestions for an in person consultation. If I look so "extremely" uneven, wouldn't you at least want to try to help me? Photos are limited for evaluation. Also, I just mentioned what one doctor suggested years ago. Obviously I don't believe that what was mentioned then is still what I need. I just finished medical school and honestly, I'm still so peeved and hurt by this unprofessional encounter I felt the need to write. Having a congenital eye disorder results in a lot of insecurities, and having a sensitive bedside manner is really important when helping potential patients. I felt awful about myself after this encounter and stopped seeking help for some time...I just hope whoever wrote that email has learned to be more sensitive towards vulnerable patients. I felt as though I was being "upsold" and being forced to commit to a surgery date so I would be able to take advantage of a "bundled" discount but i would have to pay 20% down and schedule surgery that day. Her staff still continued to push and I just had all kinds of red flags along with my own intuition that something isn't right. Additionally I was told she (Dr Ho) is not comfortable just doing a mid face lift she recommended a brow lift, neck lift, and deep plane facelift basically a complete overhaul for almost 40k. He says my glaucoma is no longer moderate but mild and my peripheral vision is outstanding. If you need cataract surgery or have glaucoma, he is the first doctor you should see. The office experience is also outstanding -- all his employees are cheerful and able to explain every procedure you undergo. His equipment is state-of-the-art, and you don't have to take drops for your IOP to be measured. I cannot recommend Dr. Shafer and his practice enough!
