I had to have a biopsy done and the "bedside manner" was incredible. Having a phobia of doctors has been with me for 45 years now. Shara explained everything to me and they helped comfort me after the procedure when I was almost ready to pass out. They allowed me all the time to recover and get back to my normal self after the procedure. One person got me ice packs as I was dripping with sweat, another worker got me some cold water while the doctor stayed with me. I have been to two other dermatologists before this place and one doctor said she was not concerned with what she saw. That review was documented in another post. The second dermatologist said she did not know what it was and referred me to my PCP. Dermatology partners was the only place that took their time, listened to me and cared for me. A big thank you to the entire staff who were all professional and accommodating to my phobia of doctors. Looking forward to finding out what's going on with my skin after 18 months, 12 prescriptions and two other doctors that did not care enough. Really impersonal.The portal makes it very hard on patient I refuse to use it.They never answer you back in the 48 buisness hours it's a joke.I called them because I only have use of my right hand and my eyes are blurry from medications. They sent me to the ER 4 times last year. They told me to go after my BP was high and I was treated bad there.I was treated at my local hospital as a frequent flyer and warned them this would happen.Now I'm embarrassed to go to the hospital.I had surgery again this time at Einstein and they were fantastic, caring, empathetic, and explained everything and told my 2 wife's what to do as well!. I felt as though I was being "upsold" and being forced to commit to a surgery date so I would be able to take advantage of a "bundled" discount but i would have to pay 20% down and schedule surgery that day. I informed her staff I wanted it a second opinion because this was a very big deal to me. Her staff still continued to push and I just had all kinds of red flags along with my own intuition that something isn't right. Additionally I was told she (Dr Ho) is not comfortable just doing a mid face lift she recommended a brow lift, neck lift, and deep plane facelift basically a complete overhaul for almost 40k. If there are issues with your treatment, you may not receive a call back for weeks, and instead might have to keep calling them. I purchased the laser nail treatment with the "written guarantee". Before originally scheduling in January 2014 I confirmed over the phone that this was a money back guarantee, and the answering staff member confirmed yes, that they've never had anyone that the treatment didn't work on. One year and 3 treatments later, after following all instructions perfectly in addition to going above and beyond to be sure I was doing my part, my nail situation is worse, not one bit better. I was assured the entire time that I just needed to continue following instructions and scheduling appointments. No results. Now they're refusing a refund, stating that it's just a written guarantee that it works, meaning they'll continue treating at "no cost". I'd rather get that whopping $500 back for this bogus treatment then continue playing this game. Now I have to take Lamisil and risk my liver, or just live with this problem forever. Don't waste your money. I'm very disappointed.
