Zero stars if I could! Wife and I went in on a Sunday afternoon and this place has the most ridiculous employees for a jewelry business. No one to greet or acknowledge. We waited at least 15 minutes. There were 4 employees but nobody even asking if we were looking for anything. Couple of them were busy with existing customers so we even waited for them to be free, but not even a stinking "someone will help you shortly" Maybe these fools don't make commission on their sales :-( We walked out and went to Shane co and purchased earrings, rings and some other things totaling 12000 and to Devon's jewelers in Galeria mall and purchased a bracelet worth 18000. So in a way they lost business worth about 30K and even more coz we will never ever be returning to them ever again. Boo.. provide your employees some trainings on being customer friendly and attentive. read more

Years ago, I purchased my first really nice watch from Sharif & Co. My now-fiancee asked if there was anything I wanted for my birthday and I semi-jokingly told her I'd be over the moon if she could find me a store that would sell me the newest Omega Seamaster (the green on green had just been announced and were surprisingly hard to come by). She got in touch with a dozens of boutiques and AD's in California. One of them was happy to take a deposit for the watch, promising that they'd offer me the first one. After a couple of months passed and no updates, I followed up with the few that seemed most promising and no news. As luck would have it, we got call from Sharif & Co. a week later. I was thrilled to pick up what might have been one of the earliest examples of this new model to make its way into California. This past year, when we decided it was time to start looking at engagement rings, we didn't really know where to start. We made the rounds to a few different jewelers and were nearly set on a Tiffany & Co. design. Since Sharif had somewhat recently opened their new store just down the street, we figured we'd try them as well. Karim spent ample time teaching us the minute differences between cuts, color, clarity, etc. and effectively showing us which of those differences we would be able to perceive and appreciate and which may just be more expensive for the sake of being expensive. As we approached a decision on the primary stone for her ring, he even brought in multiple examples of her very unique preferred shape and color so we could choose the exact diamond for her design. Karim worked with my fiancee to complete the design of the ring over the course of a few weeks. As the ring went into production, I contacted Karim to essentially run interference and pretend there was some sort of delay so that I could plan a surprise proposal. He made sure everyone at the store knew not to spoil the surprise and it all went perfectly. She was ecstatic to see her design come to life and it will be a moment that we cherish forever. Since then, I've also been back to have their in-house jeweler take a look at a minor scratch on one of my favorite watches. The finishing on this watch is a bit complicated and it would have taken 3-5 months to go back to the manufacturer for a refinish. Sharif & Co's jeweler was able to very carefully restore the finish - without disassembly. Since day 1 - even before they knew we'd be purchasing anything - Karim, Omar, Garrett and the rest of the team have been welcoming and generous with their time and expertise. We'll be back soon to figure out our plan for wedding bands. read more

Another couple gave up and left, and eventually, so did we. The vibe was cold, dismissive, and humiliating. It was as if customers didn't matter, which is ironic for a business that literally survives on customer trust. Sharif let over $12,000 walk right out the door without even blinking. We drove down the street to Shane Co., where we were welcomed instantly. Sharif Jewelers is a joke. If this is how they treat people before the sale, imagine how little they'd care after. Walked into the Sharif Jewelers on East Roseville Parkway and asked if they had a jeweler onsite as i needed a 2nd opinion on an heirloom ring and its value. The Gentleman behind the counter was courteous and gracious and said they were working on getting a Jeweler at this site but I could send my ring to another of their stores. I declined so he took a look at it and confirmed what I had thought about the ring itself because I had gotten misinformation from others I had taken it too. My girlfriend and I went here to look at engagement rings. The store is beautiful and on arrival we were met with generous hospitality that offered us water and coffee. They had a wide range of quality engagement rings, all of which were unique. They worked with us for around an hour and a half to help us find a ring and diamond which fit our price range. They even shipped a diamond from another location so that we could see it in person. We were eventually able to work together and got the ring of her dreams with the price that we could afford.
