The original owner, Roy was always pleasant and kind. Now Rosie is there taking amazing care of new and returning customers with such sweetness and authenticity. Unbelivable, I brought in my 45 year old wedding band to get enlarged and the result was way beyond my expectations. The gold band made in a weave pattern had thinned and faded in the daily wear of so many years. I fully expected that the jeweler would just be able to put a gold spacer on the ring to increase the two sizes I needed to accommodate my arthritis swollen knuckle. I just figured that I could wear the repair on the bottom and it would allow me to wear this cherished item. I was completely blown away when I picked it up and the weave was matched so perfectly that no repair or sizing is even remotely noticeable. WOW what a gifted artisan they have at Carte. I had called ahead to make sure they were going to be closing at 6 and she told me she had to close early so she can go to her watch maker. I asked if they could stay open for just 10 minutes longer so I would be able to make it there and buy a ring or a necklace. Her name is Rosie and she agreed to make it work. I got off work ten minutes early to rush over there and gave her an idea of what I wanted.
