Mine was the dreaded broken glass on a piece of framed artwork. Located on the island in Venice, there was easy parking on the street right in front of the shop. The woman working at the counter was attentive and gave me a price to install a new piece of glass right away. She said it would be done today or tomorrow. They over delivered and had it done in just a few hours. That's great service. Not only did they replace the broken glass at a reasonable price, but they mounted the picture back in the frame, just the way it was. I walked out of the shop with a "like new" picture frame for my art wall. I hope I don't break any glass in the near future, but if I do, this is where I will go for a new piece of glass. Cheers!

It was a lie on one end or the other as they told my employee one thing and me another.. They could have just called and said the order wasn't ready. Mitch came out as scheduled, did the walk through, quoted a number that was higher than we were budgeting for. After talking further he made a call to the owner and we were able to sign a contract that fit our budget. This was mid Oct 2018 with an estimated install in 6 to 8 weeks. By mid Nov they had a crew out to the house installing the coverings. The only hitch was that the factory and omitted 2 small coverings for the bathroom windows. The company took care of getting them ordered and had an installer out before the end of the year. Great product, great service, will recommend them anytime! Special thanks to Mitch for getting us a fair price and to Carrie for the many followup calls regarding scheduling and installation. Huge thanks and kudo's to Jeffery T. He's the installer that came out to put in the mountings for the bathroom windows and wound up going over the entire house. Absolutely would NOT use Jansen Shutters & Windows again. Had a hurricane impact door installed…read more The salesperson said all the right words and was very enthusiastic; however, those were just that-- WORDS!!! The installed door has never been right. It was installed without being leveled, could see through the sides to the outside in several areas as it was not properly fit, and was informed by another window company that the impact glass is backwards. Had called at least 4 times to have the door "fixed", adjusted, corrected. To this day, this extremely expensive impact door is still not right. Furthermore, the hardware purchased was not correct and day of install was forced to purchase a "special" hardware kit from Jansen costing $600!! Insane!! The handles to that pricey hardware set jiggle, and it is not a tight fit. Extremely disappointed and overall a massive, frustrating experience. Never heard back from the salesperson asking if all went well after the job was so called completed. Additionally, when calling their office to have installers come back out to correct the fit of the door, was made to feel like it was a bother. Customer service & follow through beyond lacking!! Take your business to Advanced Windows & Doors. Speak to Al Salazar--straight up, honest, true to his word, no nonsense install (incredibly talented installers), and his follow through was spot on for our hurricane impact window project (12 windows)! He's present, excellent communication throughout, and upholds his 5-star company rating. If Jansen cared about a quality front door install, they would have earned our full replacement window job!!
