Planning couldn't have been easier- our coordinator was very easy to reach and always quick with an answer with any questions we had. The venue is charming and the roof top view is stunning. We chose to have a "Before They Say I Do BBQ" and the deck provided a nice space to set up stations for our caterer.The list of vendors provided by Empire Eats made providing linens and any items needed easy to set up. The only suggestions we would offer is know in advance that this is the top floor of The Stockroom. If there are 2 events scheduled, you'll be sharing the only elevator with the other venue. Loading and unloading prior and after the event can be a bit tricky. There is no designated area loading zone. Be sure to ask in advance for a cart and it will be provided.Also, if you're having a summer event, know that it can be very hot. When the door to the deck is open, it compromises the A/C and it can be a tad bit warm.

Brigitte is so nice and will direct you through what you need to do for the ceremony. She is very experienced and has been doing this for many years. She beats any wedding planner out there when it comes to directing what to do for the ceremony! Everything is clean and well organized. There is a place for the bride to get dressed. The space is large enough for bridesmaids to get dressed also and there are two bathrooms. It's so cool knowing you're getting married in a part of history that has been maintains properly by people who respect it. Brigitte is very knowledgeable about historical events and the history of the chapel so it was really interesting getting to know her and conversing with her. About 15 minutes a man yells at us from across the street saying to stop ring the bell he was almost there. As soon and he let us inside he seemed so off. We liked the place and it seemed nice. We told him we'd love to book and he told us no not yet. And Telling us he didn't need our money and we didn't need to book the reception there cause our money wasn't going to change his life or pay his bills. Even talking about how the bartenders probably make more money than him. He also said that we could drop off our decor any day or time before the wedding and they'd put our name on it and put it in their storage closet, set it all up for you during your event and put it back away after the event and you could pick it up whenever. He also said that himself (Michael) would be floating around the event to make sure the event ran smooth. As well as some other people as assistants. Couple weeks went by and I had tried getting in contact with them on how to book the place. It is almost IMPOSSIBLE to book it. I had to call and text multiple times to be able to get the contract. After signing all they sent us was a google calendar event we were invited to as "confirmation". My DJ called to figure out what all adapters they had and he said they were less than helpful. The day before my wedding I had my family members drop off the decor after texting them that it was being dropped off. Reports from my family was they were very rude and seemed upset as they were dropping it off. The day of my wedding went by semi- ok. There was so sign of Michael ( except for 2 minutes during my first dance. After that he was gone) or any assistant at all. In fact all the bartenders left and only one ran the bar the whole time. And even asked people to step away from the bar he was so stressed out. Same bartender asked people at my wedding if my maid of honor was 21 (she's not from here and nobody knows her except obviously me) he went over and asked for her ID. Since nobody brings ID to a wedding her took her drink right out of her hand. At this point I was very upset. The day ended and I went on my honeymoon. Our cruise had no service. As soon as I came home saw a text from terrace asking when I was coming to pick up my decor. I quickly responded and the text I received made all my suspicions clear. They had thrown our my decor!?! I kept prying asking for more information. Suddenly some things werent thrown out. Each text something new wasn't thrown away. I asked why they threw away my fake florals and they blamed it on the cleaning crew. Everything came in large storage tubs where everything should've been put back. Back and forth they story from them kept changing. Even told me that setting up and taking down decor and storing it wasn't something they do. After telling them exactly what Michael told us they left me on read because they didn't want to compensate me for the RENTAL items I now have to pay for because they threw my stuff away. 10/10 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.
