He eventually arrived the next day at 11:00 a.m. The agreement was that the stump would be ground down to lawn level so I could cover it with soil and plant grass. However, he left a large portion of the stump about a foot above ground, making it impossible to seed over it as planned. I told him I would handle cleaning up the wood chips myself, since my neighbor offered to help with his tractor. But when my neighbor saw the stump, he said the job was not done properly and that it was far too high above ground to be seeded. When I called Darren to ask if he would be returning to finish the work, he became extremely aggressive and verbally abusive--calling me a "retarded bitch" and threatening to dump debris in my driveway so I couldn't leave my house. Because of these threats, I had to file a police report and install security cameras. I refused to pay for a job that was clearly incomplete and poorly done.
