Their sandwiches/paninis are simple, but good. The staff are fantastic and authentically feel like they like being there. We loved the service - great recommendations, especially for the toddler set. So, on this dark, rainy and misty night we walked the one kilometre to Ray's. We found a lively room, with almost all tables full. The ceasar salad was excellent and the lamb and BBQ burger were both one of the better we've eaten. Other dishes around us look equally appetizing. We had a bottle of Cave Spring pinot noir which was very reasonably priced. We finished by sharing the Skor cheesecake. Sweet but unctuous. Service was good, but the two waitresses had a whole room to contend with so it was brief and efficient. All told, worth a visit if you're in the area and certainly better than the alternatives.
