I was fortunate enough to have found Mike Hewlett at Hewlett Life and Health over four years ago and they are one of the most reputable and praise-worthy businesses I have dealt with when it comes to health insurance. Mike is a master of the Health Insurance marketplace as well as other individual suppliers, and he was able to save me literally hundreds of dollars a month on my health insurance. It's almost like I don't pay anything now... I can't believe the things that Mike has been able to do when it comes to my insurance premiums! His family based company is one of the most professionally run businesses in the trade that I have come across. Each partner is well informed and friendly. It sucked, and it was my fault, but when I called to see if I could get my coverage reinstated I was told "you can pay if you want, but that doesn't mean your insurance is going to get reinstated". You sell insurance and you don't know if we can fix this or not? I have rarely been treated like such an annoyance. I complained, so they called to apologize for my bad experience but ask me to" acknowledge that they had returned my call". I guess I'm happy to provide a verbal that nothing is again their fault if it makes them feel better. It was humiliating. Almost two decades with them and they made me cry on the way to work. It was the only time I ever paid late. Definitely time for a new broker who has more respect for his "little" clients.

At the close of escrow, we were sued for "quite title" and completely abandoned by Real Advantage Title Insurance company. In my opinion; if you see "ratic" in your escrow documents, it's a red flag.

The quick online do it yourselves would cost me thousands more in owed taxes! They force me to file Single. Literally our daughter is with me full time. Meaning full expenses, slumber parties and all... Clay, thank you! 3 years and counting. EV Tax credits can be a nightmare. Not with Clay. I just gave him the VIN along with my purchase receipt and let him work his magic. I do not make a lot of money, higher than the median, but that's not saying much. So I save money wherever I can. Which was why I usually do any services myself whenever possible. Fixing my own vehicles (when out of warranty), using YouTube to figure things out. However with my taxes I find the simplicity + the peace of mind, far out weigh the cost. Plus im saving 10x the fee with tax savings. Was quoted 123 a month for personal, and they'd get back to me on business accnts. I said great is that the best rate around/competitors they assured me it was so I gave them my card # for deposit. 10 mins later I get a call from another agent with BETTER coverage for 82 a month. I go to the store tell them this and ask to cancel that policy, The guy gets a very aggressive tone and expression and nearly yells"we're not interested in doing that" I'm a young business owner, I laughed thinking this was a joke as I was discussing 3+million dollars of policy coverage with him moments ago. And he just stared at me in awkward silence, got up and brought back two papers sign here sign here. I asked about the office insurance and he just says, we aren't going to do that, we don't want your business, leave, now. Which is fine, I hope they don't want anyone else's business either. Stay away from these guys, better coverage for almost half elsewhere. Just unbelievable to me, it's business.
