She listened to what I said and then she said how can we accomplish this she understood that I wanted to keep some length on my hair so when I went for my first appointment and I just walked in out of the blue and got her by the grace of God so to get a haircut and do upkeep so I can grow out my hair where it's healthy all the way to the ends she settled on a compromise just cutting so much off understanding that anymore would make me cry and then we made a quicker appointment and just did a half head of foils and a cut. I'm bad about not going for a haircut because I usually don't need foils every three months but again that's when the damage is done when it's not taken away or taken care of oh and did I mention it's reasonable!? I walked out of there with a bill under $100. I can't walk out of Walmart under $100 of course you need to tip Genevieve and tip her good! So she can stay working right where she is and I don't have to cross that bridge into Evansville to get a great haircut and color! Truly, she is just charming and so sweet and again she listens and she has the talent to make it happen so if you need a new stylist or it's the place you're going has just got out of hand with its pricing that's one of the reasons I left my old salon because after the work was done, I didn't have the money to tip them properly. If it's reasonable then you can give them a great tip and now they don't pay taxes on it more for them and they should get it. They work on their feet all day. I've seen women that are hairstylist in their 80s and their hands are riddled with arthritis and their feet are tired from standing up. It's gotta be a pretty tough job but again Genevieve does it with ease so try her out! I've got my 85 year-old aunt going to her for the first time, my aunt has colored and cut her own hair for over 65 years I guess but I told her I won't be able to do the upkeep on the granny hair with all the rollers if she ever gets so bad with arthritis she can't put her hands up anymore, which is getting close. I told her to either get a great haircut or get a wig.
