I felt very awkward and getting my hair done made me feel uncomfortable around her. She judged me from what brush I had to how I've taken care of my hair in the past. I felt left out because the other stylist were having fun and laughing with there clients. When I would say something to her, her usual response would be "oh." She asked me to text her when I need another appointment. I did that but sadly had to cancel because I work in the healthcare field and was on call. I asked her if she had any other available appointments and she never replied back. I will not be back.

Both were less than pleasant experiences…read more This most recent experience, a woman who has has been doing hair for "22 years" according to her, couldn't do a simple round brush blowout. She started and stopped more than a dozen times while I was in the chair for God knows what reason. She was using an unnozzled hair drying that was frizzing my hair. She didn't properly pull my hair through the round brush to get it taught to smooth it. I honestly thought it was her first time it was so bad. I said throughout the blowout that she wasn't pulling tight enough. She blow dried my hair with too low of heat and it looked like ####. When she was done, she said "well I guess we'll have to use a flat iron to get it smooth." Ladies. I have been getting my mop of hair blown out for years. 15 Years. I have never required a flat iron to get it smooth and curled at the ends. Never. Not even when I do an awful job at home. I sat for am moment and decided that this wasn't worth it. I asked for another stylist. She misted my hair and did the proper technique and I was very happy. That's the only reason for 2 stars. The first time, about 6 months ago, I was with a loud mouthed, obnoxious woman who didn't know the first thing about cutting hair. Stay away unless you know your stylist isn't an idiot

She completely changed the way I ask to have my hair cut nowadays--she was the one who introduced me to long AND short layers and taking weight off (as I have very thick hair). The staff is top notch, the interior is immaculately clean and more than comfortable. It's a family-owned and established business. The owners actively participate in our community. I've never had to wait for an appointment, and the owners, Kristy and Doug have always been professional and courteous to me and every customer I've seen walk through their doors. They treat their customers as family, which in this day and age is rare and should be valued. Lauren and Lynn are absolutely wonderful nail techs. Today they charged $150 for both and the man was talking in a different language to the tech and in the middle of the conversation said charge her $75 in the middle of them being done, so I could not just leave. I called and no designs are $55. I knew they were overcharging because it was for a graduation. I have never been charged this much when I did not even get a design.
