She's everything I look for in a great stylist, starting with being a true professional, but also fun, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced. My experience with Kathryn was outstanding! She owns a successful salon in Nashville and she recently opened her studio in McMinnville after she and her husband bought a farm nearby. I loved my afternoon with her and I walked out with a beautiful, chic style and highlights. Thank you, Kathryn! I've used many stylists throughout the years and you're one of the absolute best. STAY AWAY!!! HORRIBLE. I decided to treat myself after moving here, and my 3 girls. It took…read moreliterally ALL day to do our hair and cost me over $400. I also came for a mani pedi the following day and it literally took 2 hours, same lady too. I had also ask a toner be put on because I had already had my hair stripped and the lady used something else that basically ruined my hair. I ended up having to literally shave my entire head. I did not realize the extent of the damage until I tried to dye it several times after and the dye wouldn't take. She said she didn't used the toner I had asked for and that my hair must have just been destroyed from previous damage so dye would no longer take. I am BEYOND furious with this salon and would NEVER go here again. Because she didn't give me a much needed apology for not doing what i asked and ruining my hair, I would not go back for her to "fix" the situation. I wouldn't let her near a dolls hair let alone a human being (it would probably take her 4 hours.) Next time I want to spend that kind of money, I will venture elsewhere. I went in for a haircut, and the experience was awful. The stylist was a newbie who had just…read morefinished school three months ago. I specifically told her I didn't want my hair cut shorter than chin length. However, she cut one side at my chin and the other about two inches shorter. She admitted to a few employees that she had messed up and asked for help. Not only was it too short, but it was also jagged and uneven. Another male employee came over and started directing her on what to do. Then, she called over another woman to help clean up the mess. As they were fixing it, the stylist tried to distract from the situation by commenting on my soft-spoken nature. The other lady said it was nice to have a conversation, but I told them both that their primary focus should be on fixing the mistake and doing their job properly -- clearly, they needed more practice. When I left, I noticed that the right side of my hair was about an inch longer than the left, so I went back to get it fixed properly. Despite my soft-spoken demeanor, I'm not ignorant, and I expected them to pay attention to the task at hand instead of focusing on trivial matters.
