The restaurant does a good value set menu on a Thursday night, however you need to book as this is popular. The down side to this restaurant is that there isnt much flexibility with the dishes. I asked for a dish to be made slightly more spicy and was greeted with a confused look. They did try to accommodate me but they did seem a bit miffed. At first we were disappointed as both our starters - the lamb chops and veggie samosas - were average at best with both being rather dry and scrawny. But then the entrees arrived and the Spice House was redeemed. The lamb vindaloo was properly spiced and perfectly delicious. The sag paneer, cucumber raita, and royal tandoor were equally wonderful. Rice, pappadam and a couple of nan rounded out our meal and we went home very happy. The service was good and the decor was modern and clean if a bit uninspired. One caveat. Our children ordered ginger ales and we were served the smallest bottles I have ever seen - 125ml (4 oz) of warm soda each. I'm guessing they are only used as mixers. And the only desserts on offer were ice creams (i.e. no Indian desserts such as kheer or galab jamun).
