All the kids have to sit in their arena and watch each child have a 20 minute turn on the same horse. This is ridiculous. There should be a horse for each child. 3. The women in charge are rude to the kids And would not allow my granddaughter that became overheated to access water today, making her wait an extended time. When my older granddaughter was attempting to comfort her younger cousin, she was called into the " office" and verbally dressed down for her compassion . More than one child was crying. Does this sound like somewhere you would leave your Littles? This is the most pricey horse camp I have ever funded and by far the greatest disappointment! Every camp we have attended in the past offers riding all morning on individual mounts, arts and crafts and some type of water fun in the afternoons. Misrepresentation of horse camp is an understatement. This operation Is a major scam. Shame on you Ms Cravens and your equally rude sidekick! May you reap what you sow!

Arron was incredibly helpful setting up our time and helping us navigate bad weather on our first day. We ended up going today, and the weather was gorgeous! I could not have ordered a better day if I tried. The trail was not easy by any means, but we felt quite supported by the staff throughout the journey. The views were incredible! From the top of the ridge, we could see the entire property as well as downtown Tulsa. I would definitely come back here!

I'm looking forward to the upcoming Valentines one as well. We schedule our girl visits around the shopping schedule since I live out of state- perfect reason to get together. Thankfully they have a lot of upcoming events. We were so busy shopping at the it's fall yall event that we missed the drinks booth... I didn't even know that was possible... but somehow we did it. The vendors here were so sweet, I was buying a lot of heavy items, and they all offered to hold them for me til the end of the day and said we could pick them up at the end. So many of them were worried about my friend and I thinking we found the drinks and forgot to pick up our purchases. Nope- we didn't forget- just found so many great items. The same thing happened when we came for the Christmas one. We came on Friday, and again on Sunday. You get in free the next time if you show a selfie of yourself having already being at their event. We bought so many great items to give as gifts this year- great stress free shopping. I seemed to be buying all the heavy items since I had to fly them home at the fall event. Then it all seemed to be liquids at the Christmas event... at least I have a pattern Plenty of parking, and everyone is so friendly.

We also had 3 staff ringing with us and giving instructions during the ride, when necessary. It took me a few minutes to settle down on the ride but once I got the hang of everything it was nice to enjoy the views. I was even able to give my horse praises which helped with our bond. One thing I really appreciate is how easy it is to access the mountain thanks to three different parking lots: Lower Parking Lot (67th & Elwood) The most popular one, right at the base of the main trail system. Great if you want quick access to the Red, Blue, and Yellow trails. Upper Parking Lot (off Elwood, near the top) Perfect if you want a quieter start or prefer jumping straight into the mid mountain trails. West Side Parking Lot (off Highway 75 / 61st area) Aa lesser used entrance that gives you a totally different feel and connects you to some beautiful, less crowded routes. No matter where you start, the trails are well marked, varied, and offer everything from easy strolls to more challenging climbs. If you hike to The Sanctuary, you're rewarded with one of the most peaceful areas on the mountain. You'll come across several ponds, wildlife, and a tree house with bench style swings, one of the most unexpectedly delightful spots in Tulsa. It's the kind of place where you can sit, sway, and just breathe for a moment. Highly recommend spending a morning or evening out here. It's beautiful, accessible, and full of surprises.

i'd convinced momma to bring me since i had a injection appt at a pharmacy nearby at about 64th st…read moreand we do not get to go so far south or west very often. the trip helped me recall the location of the mountain primary entrances and parking lots. specifically, coming from highway 51, exiting off the 224 exit ramp, the first entrance, on the left side, is the favorite of mine for getting flicks, with a beautiful view of the city skyline in the background to the south and an equally beautiful hilly rural landscape closer by. then, next was the main entrance i know to the trails, with map and restroom in front of it, and a awesome angle of the massive mound of shrubbery that comprises the tallest point of turkey mountain. the experience also allowed me to reflect a bit on the reason i enjoy yelping so much, that during a period of life when time is a precious commodity for me, it allows me to receive small glimpses of locations that hold a special significance, and reflect on the roles those locations, turkey mountain for one, were for me. specifically, the hiking and running trail system was and to an extent is a destination running route, with the rocky trail a fun, challenging one for runners of all disciplines looking for a cross training opportunity. also, the variety of trails and vast nature area, including at least a few trees for hammocking, presents a ideal location for a nature excursion. lastly, i'll add that we exited across the 71st bridge, which is also an alternative entrance to the 224 exit off highway 51 heading west, and in that case, the order of the entrances i've mentioned would be reversed.

When we were moving to our little ranch here in New Mexico (one reason, the wonderful weather) from Ohio we needed to have a place for our horses to say overnight. They were so kind and we got there very late and they still have two beautiful stalls for my horse kids. When we paid them, they said no, it was too much, but gave it to them anyway as a donation to their programs to help kids become familiar with horses. They sent us on our way with a guide tour in the VERY back that was 16 yrs old! The trail was SO unsafe ( tight roping, with steep down trails ect! My daughter was getting left behind as her horse was extremely slow. Half the time we didn't know where we were going. My horse was VERY stubborn. So glad I didn't take our grandma that used to ride because this was so unsafe. The trough looked extremely dirty it was like a dark green color. We were crossing roads that cars had to yield to us.
