A long time client of Miss Kelley has followed her to this new location. Easy access off of highway 95 within minutes you arrive. In the same parking lot as Howell's gun and target store. Plenty of parking here. Entrance is easy to see and handicap accessible. Kelley's station is the first, closest to the door. They have a small sitting area where you can find refreshments while you wait. Bathroom is right there as well. Multiple booths for stylists and at the back is the nail technician section. Many colors and styles of nail paints are available. Two sinks for washing or rinsing of hair. One stylist does extensions of every color and length you could want. Went here for a haircut today and was constantly getting flirted with by these middle aged women (I'm 17 btw). There was one point during my appointment where I was circled by 3 of the workers showing me some famous guy they thought was cute while telling me I looked like him. Never going here again. If I could give a 0, I would. Worse experience ever in this salon! My hands are shaking and trembling out of anger at the moment as I type. I showed the hairdresser multiple photos of the cut I wanted and emphasized how I want it to be long like the photos and not short which is how some bobs can be. She wet my hair and immediately cut the hair towards the front waaay shorter than it should have been because of that, she had to cut the rest of the hair shorter in the back to offset the mess. Naturally, I was freaked out by how short it was, looking at my wet hair I can already tell. This was not what I wanted at all. She retorts by saying that it isn't short at all. Well of course at the moment it didn't look short, my hair was still wet and flat against my skull. When she blowed dried it, it really emphasized how short it was, my hair isn't flat when dry, it fluffs up and curles inwards at the ends but it's not voluminous at all so now my hair looks like a rats nest. I thought that hairdressers would at least take 2 seconds to study the clients hair and see how the hair sits on them before taking liberties with the scissors. I am headed to a wedding in 2 days and I spent 2 hours crying in my bathroom. read more

I love this place. Went in last week for a bridal hair and makeup trial with my future mother-in-law and we both left very happy girls feeling gorgeous. Tatum is the bomb with hair, and I absolutely love Elle, the salon manager/owner, both in which made us look beautiful with their awesome skills. Great value for men @ $10. Fast, friendly, and one time when the wait was long, they handed me a can of beer while I waited. I've gone to places that cost more that don't do as good a job. I am writing a follow up from my first review. I decided to call the owner and I went in today and sat with her and the hairstylist that did my hair on Monday. It was quite emotional. I brought the picture that I had given the hairstylist on Monday and it was quite obvious that my hair didn't look anything like it. The owner agreed and asked what she could do to make it better. The owner Elle was awesome! She washed my hair and had another stylist thin the top a bit, added mousse, blew dry with a curling brush and sprayed with hair spray. I felt like a million dollars! Elle is a great owner. She acknowledged both myself and the stylist without throwing either of us under the bus. There was a definite lack of communication on both our parts. Before I left, I apologized to the hairstylist for not being more communicative and she apologized to me. Elle gave me a gift card for a future cut when it grows out and I am ready. I love this place. All the stylists I've used have been very talented and attentive. Brittany and Paula in particular do fantastic work. We've had regular cuts and colors, as well as kids cuts and everyone always comes out looking great. Their prices are great, especially for the men's' cuts. You can go in with a very clear idea of what you want and they don't listen. I left with blonde hair when I wanted something natural, and my sister said she didn't want layers and left with a ton of them. They do what they want and don't listen to your requests. read more
